No, she just came off as being a shit liar. Despite being called the Queen of Lies. Don't try to cover up plain old weak writing with shit like this, all cases in the game but this one obfuscated how weak the mysteries were with some sort of tangent involving characters lamenting about some sort of friendship problem or some other teenager thing. The relative lack of that in the 3rd case just made the weak mystery clearer to see.

I liked her up until Case 3. I'd rather Kyoko be the protagonist and Celeste be her equivalent of Nagito even. We'd lose out on FTEs due to Kyoko being a social autist but the FTEs were mostly shit anyway, and a socially autistic detective protagonist sounds more interesting than the bland everyman high schooler protagonist that this series seems to be stuck with too.
