Except that's a rifle, its not a pipe there's a precision milling of the inside of the barrel to stabilize the bullet as it exits the barrel. Shotguns that aren't made to fire exclusively slugs are not rifled. Rifling is the whole reason we don't stand in a line like retards and volley fire anymore.

What game does this? Every game I've played with rifles/guns in general treats shotguns as having piss weak range but high damage. Pump shotguns do more damage than semi's for some fucking reason and they're useless outside a certain range
