Skyrim Hate Thread

I wish everyone who said they liked or enjoyed this game dies a horrible death. It's not enough that casualfags continually eats this up, I want every single fucking Skyrim fan to be rounded up and shot in the head. When you have Oblivion readily available you have no excuse for being a waste of human life.

i can't make qt female (male) sluts with the Oblivion shitty character creation

>Boring, unteresting quests
>No memorable characters
>Exploration gets boring after you realize that the world does't have any deep

I hate the dragons. I want to have nothing to do with dragons. I hate it that this game constantly shoves dragons in my face, points at them and wants to portray them as epic and cool, but all they do is fighting bears or being confused about where to land. I killed numerous dragons before I was able to kill a single mammoth, this is not how it should be. I don't want to use dragon shouts, I want to use the skills I obtained which fit my own role-playing. I couldn't care anything at all about being some dragonborne, I want to be my own character and ignore all this shit.

Bascially fuck everything with the name "dragon" in it.

>hurr durr

who are you quoting?

Yeah this game is fucking garbage

I'm with you on the Skyrim hate, but then you apparently think Oblivion is good?

I liked it just like I liked every TES since Daggerfall. I played Skyrim for over 800h with more than 300 mods and I had fun. You can sperg out all you want, that won't change the fact that Skyrim was good, and with mods it's godtier.

This is basically a hurr durr thread, what did you expect?

Cool thread, OP. I'd like to mantle you some day.

Oblivion is equally shitty faggot

I liked the Daedric Quests.

The combat sucks ass and I don't know why they could only hire 6 voice actors with their budget

This is one of the few games that are so bad that I can call out their fans for being objectively wrong for liking them.

Every TES has shit combat, Skyrim is the least shit. As for voice acting, even tho I admit you sometimes hear the same voices, there are way more than 6 voice actors. Don't forget muh rims has a shitload of NPC with dialogue, it would cost way too much to have a unique voice every time. And Zenimax is deciding the budget, not Bethesda or Todd.

>it would cost way too much to have a unique voice every time
Aaw gee darn it, if there was only way to have dialog with npc's but not have them voice acted.

I agree that hiring less voice actors to voice more lines is more efficient than hiring more voice actors to voice less lines. I am just annoyed that you hear the same voices over and over despite the game being AAA. It's also partially an issue with the voice actors cause they never try sounding different for different characters

How would you fix dragons from being a chore?
I'm honestly drawing a blank, because Skyrim simply isn't designed for fighting things that you can't just charge at and hack/shoot to pieces

I agree user but that cant be done. Now that every npc is voiced, there's no way they change that.

True. What pissed me off the most is hearing a literally who beggar having the same voice as Ulfric. They should try to talk differently. What you can do is instal interesting npc, they are voiced by pros and you won't hear the same sentences every time.
Use mods like deadly dragons, legendary dragons and dragon combat overhaul with combat mods and dodge/block mods. Every dragon fight is intense and unique, dragons have tens of new spells, new animations, new behaviour.

TES games are designed with modding in mind. If you like the base game, make the most of it and turn the game into your own personnal masterpiece.

>not playing with a mage build
>not knowing how to turn off random dragons
>not knowing how to properly use alchemy

The game its bad. R-right?

>They should try to talk differently.
This is a direction problem. Basically what happens is they want to keep the recording booth time down as much as possible to reduce costs, so they print out a script for the voice actor with every line they're supposed to speak, and they aren't grouped or otherwise identified by different NPC names or anything, possibly even out of order, so the VAs have no way of knowing which lines belong to what characters, forcing them to stick with one voice for everything.

>casualfags continually eats this up

Skyrim on legendary is harder than Oblivion or Morrowind.

>Skyrim's magic combat is the best.
Who the fuck made this shit?
Quicktravel system is 100% the same as Oblivions too.
Skyrim fell down HORRIBLY on the music. I don't know what happened to Soule this time around but his composing for Morrowind and Oblivion was fucking God tier. Nothing will ever capture that sense of adventure and mystifying nature of the landscapes you explored through.

I dont know how an OST less than an hour long and the other one hour long can be more captivating than Skyrim's three and a half hour long snoozefest.

>Quicktravel system is 100% the same as Oblivions too.
Oblivion let you fast travel to any of the major cities right from the start. In Skyrim you have to walk to at least one, and the rest are only accessible by carriage.

Apologies, I actually didn't know that, its been so long since I played vanilla Oblivion. My latest playthrough overhauled the map and broke the cities down into much more locations that you could fast travel to only once you had discovered them.

>he cries about skyrim being casual
>he proceed to play even more casual games called zelda

that's how you spot manchild

>Being this stupid

tragic really

I'd argue on lockpicking mechanic. I was so fucking sick of that stupid minigame in oblivion and skyrim almost immidiately. I'd rather poke the chest with the lockpick like in morrowind than do that shit again. At least in OB you could get alteration unlock spells and not deal with that shit altogether.

What a faggot post. Did you just make this with hate for Oblivion in mind? Morrowind is of course by far superior, but Skyrim is just utter shit compared to its predecessors, I wouldn't think it's a TES game if not for the tag. Casualfags ate this up in the same way casualfags ate up Witcher 3, when they knew nothing about they fuck all about Witcher series and still praised the mess Witcher 3 was, just like nigers say Skyrim is a good game even though it's objectively shit.

The auto attempt button sure was nice in Oblivion and a reasonable counter for the availability of lockpicks. In Skyrim you can accumulate hundreds of lockpicks and never run out, there's not even a reason to get the unbreakable pick perk.

It was OK with Requiem. Still not good though, nothing can fix this quest design.

ITT:
>skyrim is bad
>oblivion is ok
>morrowind was great
>if you disagree you are 'normal'
>but Sup Forums hates normal

come on, listen to yourselves.

all 3 games were good.

morrowind had complexity and atmosphere, along with limitless spellcrafting.

oblivion had memorable characters and the best guild storylines, along with the best OST.

Skyrim had a more fluid magic system, the ability to use any weapon/armor to full effect, and new mechanics like shouts and warewolves.

All of them were fun in their own right.

Come at me faggots.
