There are reasonable explanations for this, first and foremost the simple fact that they've seen "chosen undeads" like you thousands of times flailing about, attempting to be the hero, only to see them all fail. It's almost a melancholy madness; pity laughter.

I don't get this meme. Hunter's Nightmare is ok at best considering over half of it is a rehash of a previous area. At least it ends with a cool boss.

Research Hall is unforgivable though. Enemies that can one shot you are fucking everywhere in that area, and it end with a shitty boss too. Thanks hackzaki.

Fishing Hamlet was great though, it's become my favorite area in the game.

Most people don't know, but the long loadings at the release were due to texture generating in runtime. In patch they just used baked bitmaps instead of generated textures, thus increasing the weight of a game, but decreasing the loading times.
