Someone gifted me Diablo 3

Someone gifted me Diablo 3.

Which class should I play?
What's the verdict?

how the fuck someone gifted you diablo 3?

im jelly

>Barbarian
Slow until you get gear, then still slow but you get to jump around constantly and using heavy cooldowns
>Demon Hunter
Slow up til 20, then gotta go fast, stays go fast for the entirety of the game
>Monk
dont
>witch Doctor
memes
>wizard
If only they could see me now
>Crusader
Lorthemar

Crusader is always a good choice, Deus Vult brother.

You just buy a key and msg it to someone
:'p

Necromancer when?

how can i find that kind user for to get gifted?

I haven't played much of anyone but Crusader, so I don't have much of an opinion but Crusader is pretty much invincible. Damage is shit, but you will literally never die. Think I was able to bump the difficulty up to like Torment VI before death actually became a possibility.
Standing still and letting everything kill itself just by attacking you is also a lot of fun despite sounding like the opposite of fun.

I played WD but i regretted it, not enough summons to be as fun as D2 necro and any kind of debuff is pointless when you can just kill them. I can't bring myself to get another character to lvl70 when it has no end game but from what iv'e seen from other players, wizard does ridiculous damage and mows people down and crusader is a walking death machine. Better yet you can just forget D3, call your friend a chode for giving you a shit game and buy grim dawn.

LoN barb is the most fun I've had since Diablo 2. The downside is you'll need a 100 hours at least to get all the equipment you need to optimize the build.

God damn this is awful advice. D3 is fun for a character or two OP. If you like ARPG's you'll likely enjoy it. Class choice doesn't really matter so just pick what you want to play.

Grim dawn is an extremely slow game with uninteresting classes and a dull art style.

Doesn't matter. You'll be done with the game in a week anyway.

>Which class should I play?

Any melee class.
They have bonus 30% damage resist, and the end-game always ends up with monsters being in melee range. Yes, even for ranged classes. Thank the retarded designers for this.

play path of exile like someone who isn't a shitter

>>>>path of shit

Are you saying D3 is better than grim dawn?

sure showed me

Wizard is having a lot of life right now with lighting builds due to Manald Heal. Each character has a strong build that if you put enough time in can take you to 90+ GR solo. I suggest whatever you pick you play in the season so you can get a feel for them and because more people play the season than non season.

They both have strengths and weaknesses but overall I do think D3 is the better game.

ROLAND'S CRUSADER
good luck getting a good flail tho lol

>What's the verdict?

Extremely repetitive, boring, easy and mindless.

I hope you enjoy replaying the same thing over and over with the soul purpose of finding new gear.

>path of developer support

I play path of exile a lot but I'm getting real tired of how the game runs like shit no matter the specs you have. Is diablo3 at least optmized?

You should unistall instead

Make friends outside of this website

>developer support
>still need to download 3rd party programs to make the game run smooth

but i love my Sup Forumsros

it plays the most fluid of any arpg on the market, ill get if that much

Thanks for outing yourself as a retard

Barbarian. Starts slow but in the end you will be a whirlwind of blades. With a specific set you can have three invincible Ancestors following you and killing shit next to you PERMANENTLY.

Like said, Crusader is unkillable. But Barbarians can just life drain all of his attacks so in the end you're practically unkillable yourself, especially with the three ancestors life draining for you.

>Play a gang of barbarians wrecking shit and jumping/stomping everything in their paths and throwing boulders at enemies.

Played through the game as witch doctor and hated every fucking minute of it. Hated it, HATED IT. But for some odd reason i want to play again, what class is most fun/least boring?

talking about content, you dingus. go ahead. go pick another strawman argument.

>content
>rehash crab levels as new acts

What about WD didn't you like? It's easier for us to know so we can give you a recommendation.

I had fun with my Uliana monk, explosions fucking everywhere.

play witch doctor or mage on expert first time unless you want to be bored out of your mind

demon hunter too

im doing a crusader run this time around with the DLC . pretty good. he can be pretty brutal but if you use smite and shield throw you can clear out crowds pretty quickly.
make sure you use the passive to let you use two handed weapons with one hand so you can deal heavy damage with a heavy shield.

I don't know really, a lot of his shit seems really pointless
>Haunt/locust swarm
Debuffing feels pointless at higher levels, why bother when you can burst them down.
>dogs/giant
Not enough to satisfy my necro army fetish
>all of his basic attacks
None if them do enough damage, they're just there to replenish my mana so i can spam acid rain
>acid rain
The only spell worth using if you take away the DoT

ect. I think i answered my own question maybe. I don't want to have to jumo through all these hoops and gimmicks to kill people. I think the obvious answer is wizard but i dunno. Iv'e seen wizards while doing rifts and every single one of them using ray of destruction (i think that's what it is) exclusively. And spamming one spell over and over doesn't seem like fun.

For someone whos never played it, is D3 + the expansion worth $22 together?

Game is too fucking easy first time through

>strawman

fem crusader / Johanna is best

>Debuffing feels pointless at higher levels, why bother when you can burst them down.
Higher GR levels wont let you burst them down, however, there's farming variants of builds for WD in T10 and T13. You're close when you say you see a lot of Wizards use disintigrate. That's probably the Archon skill you're seeing. The problem with wizard I see is that too many builds use Archon because it's so damn good. As stated earlier, Wizards have been in a boon because of Manald Heal lightning builds since you can make so many variants around that ring, but in the PTR it seems that lightning Hydra is going to be the best version.

This was my problem, i was playing on the hardest difficulty the first time through. I got to skelly king and i tried something. literally, LITERALLY stood still, used one hand and held down x. He couldn't kill me and i pinged him down for about 15 minutes. I had an autistic shit fit when i beat him with ONE HAND and didn't play for a week. I don't think iv'e ever beaten a boss with one hand and i don't think iv'e ever been that mad at a video game.

But he's right, Grim Dawn is garbage. You could argue Path of Exile is better than D3 but there's absolutely no way you can justify GD.

Your friend should've gifted you Overwatch instead.

Barbie is fun but weak as fuck
Hunter is second most and overpower as fuck if you know what you are doing
Wizard is ok, can be overpowered too
Monk looks cool as fuck but it's hard to use an play. It's weak too
Crusader is the most powerful of all the classes, but she is slow as fuck an the most boring to play
I don't know about nigga shaman, I don't like summoner classes

tl;dr: play crusader if first time playing a diablo game. If you have played duablo2, try barbarian or hunter.

Grim dawn has actual depth, it's an rpg and you can fuck up your character if you don't optimize. It takes brain power, with D3 everything is prebuilt. You just use whatever skill the armor set tells you to use. There is no specialization, it's like comparing the rpg elements of morrowind to that of skyrim. D3 just feels so shallow.

Saying "it's an RPG" is just another way of saying it's a shit action RPG.
Optimizing a character doesn't take brain power, you either go for highest DPS or just read a guide online and follow the cookie cutter build lest you encounter something you can't handle and have to grind for hours or reset your character because you didn't read up on the meta.
Being able to swap skills on the fly to adapt to new challenges and items that change your skills provides gameplay variety and is the best thing Blizzard did for the genre, although that's not hard considering the story and music are awful and the rest is polish.

If you want to play an RPG then just go play an actual RPG, don't just pretend Grim Dawn is a good action RPG.

Just because you're a shitter and can't build your own characters effectively doesn't mean nobody else can captain autismo.
>just go for highest dps
Nice
>adapt to new challenges
What challenge? The game is piss easy.

>What challenge? The game is piss easy.
That I agree with, D3 is made for casual babies and the only challenge comes from pushing high-level grifts which is part RNG.
But from a design perspective, being able to adapt to a situation is more interesting and fun than otherwise. Which is why even games like Twitcher 3 allows you to switch between iron or silver swords depending on what you're up against (a simple, binary choice but nobody said Twitcher wasn't for idiots too), and use different alchemy potions and signs in different situations (or just spam Quen constantly in the case of Witcher 2).

The fact that you have to stick to whatever skill you leveled up the most (or furthest to the right) in Grim Dawn just makes it dull, in my opinion.

the uninstall wizard is easily the most entertaining class available

Necromancer when?

Iv'e never (never) ever, NEVER had to switch up my abilities in D3 depending on what enemy i'm fighting. Whatever is most effective in general/whatever your set tells you to use is what you're gonna use.and considering half of every classes abilities/mods are useless you're still gonna be spamming the same skills for hours and hours. It's no different than grim dawn in that regard, grim dawn just makes you commit.

>asian

Awful

And how will the Necromancer change anything?

people finally get to play a summoner without it being brown.

go buy a PS4 and buy Nioh its the better Diablo.

What 3rd party programs? I honestly can't think of anything that you need to play the game that isn't in the fucking game

>chink
>holy bulwark warrior of god

For what reason
