Remember, PC is not a console (you can still post and tell wich console you hate the less)

android

Android became shit t b h

But pcs are systems though, and that's what you're asking in the first place..?

PSP was pretty cool though.

>mfw people preferred the 2000's screen ghosting over the 3000's screen interlacing

psp was fucking mindblowing when it came out, no contest here for me personally.

Yeah should have said console but i know it would be derailled in shitposting and console wars thread.

Always prefered the 1000 but i cant go back since i got a PSP go, its screen is fantastic.

Have any emulation recommendations?

Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble is amazing.

Fuck me, I just bought a PSP 2k, I should've totally bought the GO but I forgot it existed.

It will always be PC, then Dreamcast, then first Xbox. N64 might replace the DC depending on my mood, idk though, I'm old enough to have experiences them all.

Why do I need to choose?

Vita, but only once all the hack shit is sorted out

The PSP slim is a fucking scam, they went as cheap as possible and the screen suffers from scanlines and screen deformities where the entire inside perimeter is significantly brighter than the rest, looks like there's a darker window inside.

Overall, probably my NES. I still have my original one from when I was a kid in the early 90's. I still play regularly after all these years and it still brings me joy.

>3ds
>games are comfy

>snes
>games are comfy + nostalgia for the 90s

Do you like RPGs ? Try grand knight hystory its fucking awesome and its georgous even when emulated at 1080p.

Also for gundam fags a translation of Sd Gundam G overworld has been done (sorry for the neofag link)
neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1344941

Yep. Playing games that are semi dark means you can't see shit

Bought mine for 50€ refurbished ( EUfag) The only down side is for the controles, the buttons are way more stiff but could finish super Ghost n goblins with it so i guess its not that bad.

Efuckingxactly.

PSP Slim was my first handheld since the GameBoy Color came out (seriously), I felt so god damn ripped off I got a 3DS and loved it.

is it hard to hold? it always looked like you had to claw your thumbs down onto the buttons

Too bad it's not completely hacked like psp, will definitely get one even if it cost me more than 150€ with a memory card when it will boot vita's iso

Since people are gushing over the PSP, I've been replaying some of my favorites on my VITA via Adrenaline.

The system got some damn amazing ports. Outrun 2006, Tekken, Castlevania....so gud.

Plus with Adrenaline, I can use a xerpi's DS4vita plugin to play with a DualShock 4 if I so desire. He also has a plugin for Dualshock 3 as well.

I have big hands, so its not really comfortable but i got used to it

You can pirate games easily on the VITA now. Look up MaiDump Tool and Vitamin along with Henkaku. Really there is only 1 layer left to hack (f00d) and it seems that progress is being made if non-descriptive tweets are to be believed.

You can already pirate Vita games from before Winter 2016.

>Outrun 2006

mah nigga

>tfw you updated your vita and now you can't hack it for like 5 more years

On the other hand, you can play new Vita games.

you did get ARK before you updated, right?

No. I always used my vita for commercial use and then when I realized I should just hack it like I did my PSP I was literally 1 update too late.

Also the LCD Filter in Adrenaline is best.

>Filters

Can a hacked vita play psx games as well as it can play psp games yet?

If so then vita. 3ds is alright

Not yet. The update to Adrenaline that enables is supposed to be coming this month but the guy who was working on it got sidetracked adding USB support to the PSTV.

Not natively yet. You can emulate a few titles via Retroarch, but performance is hit and miss. I've not tried it myself but from what I understand, anything that isn't super heavy 3D will run fine.

It's either that, or a blurry vasoline smeared mess. It actually looks great on the OLED screen.

Or you can just have no filters at all.

My favorite system is Windows as it has a number of games I enjoy on it.

Nope, you don't get a choice actually. It's either crappy bilinear filtering, a slightly better bilinear filtering, scanlines horizontally or LCD filter. The LCD filter actually makes the most sense because the Vita screen is twice the resolution of the PSP.

You can disable any variety of filters in the settings menu though.
You have to deal with jaggies but I still think it's better than fucking up the brightness.

Fun fact: The vita is twice the resolution of the PSP and half the resolution of 1080 so images get upscaled quite well from vita to most computer monitors.

>PSTV output is only 1080i, not even full 1080p
>Looks worse than the 720p output
What the fuck were they thinking?

PS2.

Simply because there was always something great to play on it, and a wide variety of games and genres too, from mascot platformers like Sly Cooper to unique artsy shit like Shadow of the Collossus to casual AAA shit like GTA to weird Japanese shit like Mr. Mosquito

Wrong again. Taken from gist.github.com/TheOfficialFloW/0ed4e09e2d447e631416cb84d7c43107

- About custom graphics filtering -
Right now, you have got four different options you can choose:
- Official: If this is selected, the official filtering will be used (the one choosed in the official settings).
- Bilinear GPU: The filter being applied by GPU does look a bit smoother than the official bilinear filtering.
- Sharp bilinear: This filter is an improved bilinear filter where scanlines are added to give it a sharper look.
- LCD3x: This filter has got vertical and horizontal scanlines and will make the screen a bit darker.

You cannot disabled them whatsoever.

the Xbox.

So many great games

rallysport challenge
ampd
halo 1 and 2
battleengine aquila
mechassault

The n64 because it has some of the best games ever created. But the PS4 is becoming one of my favorites as well.

>(the one choosed in the official settings).
If you go in official settings then you can disable it.

PS2 for the games and had some really nice JRPGs that got me into the genre
GBA because for its time it was the best handheld
GameCube only because of melee
N64 in the early years until Playstation replaced it as top dog
SNES for nostalgic reasons
But all can be emulated on PC :)

>emulating PS2 and N64
lol

My favorite system is my PC

Why does the second half of your post remind people that PC isnt a console though?

I like fedora, but FreeBSD is nice too. Sadly only game on it I'd basically a nethack.
