CAN YOU FLY?

LONG AGO IN A DISTANT LAND

No, jump good.

I, AKU, THE SHAPE-SHIFTING MASTER OF DARKNESS

>Enemy/NPC anxiously begs you to kill them

>final boss is a foolish samurai

>Enemy is a giant spider
That's enough, I'm closing my eyes and swinging/shooting blindly.

>kill disgusting giant spider
>mfw more spawn from its corpse

>enemy is a giant spider
>their death animation is exploding into a million baby spiders

>giant spider moves at a speed proportional to its giant size

Water. Especially if something is moving in it, whether it's plants, algae or some kind of animals. I almost shit my pants in the end of silent hill 2

This, plus some really creepy harking death sounds.

Vampire: The Masquerade Redemption had this and God was it creepy.

>Enemy is a giant spider
>It starts screeching when lit on fire

Not just in games but in everything for me:

>humans with solid black eyes always unnerves me

>when the developers/directors follow the rule of never letting you see the "monster" completely only giving you very VERY quick glimpses at most, in horror movies this is a huge rule to not let your audience humanize your monster too much or else it loses its fear factor

>humans being used to incubate or otherwise sprout for lack of a better term alien life forms or to have their molecular makeup changed in so horrible way to form something else

>body snatcher stuff in general is always interesting but unnerving when done right, bonethieves from eternal darkness are top of the list

>when any form of an inhuman abonimation has taken tons of damage that would normally fuck up anything we know of, and after a few seconds it continues to attack or otherwise move around

>giant spider is an optional boss
>if you don't kill it, it eats your waifu
>it doesn't matter because the other waifu option is strictly superior anyway

UNLEASHED AN UNSPEAKABLE EVIL

>It's screeching but its movements don't change to eratic spams as it burns
>The burns just lower its overall health until it dies
>It suddenly becomes a physics prop and launches over a wall
>It had something on its corpse for a quest and you can't get over the wall
>you also saved six hours ago

THE END

I on the other hand love it, especially in Resi where they keep twitching after.

>something obviously not a human and/or lacking the proper organs to sound human, can scream, yell, grunt, groan, etc like a human

BUT A FOOLISH SAMURAI WARRIOR WIELDING A MAGIC SWORD STEPPED FORTH TO OPPOSE ME

>Eternal Darkness Bonethieves
There was that one creature in Dead Space games that decapitated Spess Man and took over his body.

>not saving after every little bit of development in story or gameplay

You only have yourself to blame

...

Skyrim?

I haven't played Dead Space.

Bone Thieves are super fucked up because they can fool you into thinking they are a normal human.

>mfw that part on max's chapter where its revealed to him that his servants were all bonethieves in the house and when he steps out of the door to the top floor out into the stairway to the front door, every servant stops what they are doing and they go straight for him and start swinging

Do you have any fucking idea how much that fucked with me when I was a teenager? I had to stop for a few minutes.

>someone playing shitty skyrim not being a huge casual and saving every 4 steps

This didn't happen and you know it.

Eternal Darkness would have fucked you up no matter when you played it.

>final boss is a shapeshifter

"...WE MUST CUT THEM...BURN THEM..."

"......IT'S THE ONLY WAY...I KNOW..."

"...I'VE ~DONE~ IT..."

"...IT...WORKS."

Hope jack learns Aku's paint scheme in season 5. He was tricked twice by this and the hermit. Greenskin, red or jet black hair, baggy eyes=Aku.

He did know that the hermit was Aku I think, he said that at the end of the episode that he knew it was Aku

Alright so there's this poster/ad display at my local bus stop that has a giant poster of Aku on it and I want to take it. How would I do it? Breaking the glass isn't something I'd want to do.

Ive never heard or seen that game. Im 25 and it sounds ducking horrifying

There's usually some kind of lock on those, isn't there? You can't just open the display afaik. Smashing the glass (carefully, so you don't damage the poster) might be your only option if you want to take it.

For a more realistic option, contact the company that made the poster and ask if you can have/buy one.

Eternal Darkness is a great game on the Gamecube. If you have a decent pc, download the Dolphin emulator and try it out.

It's my second most favorite Gamecube game.

This actually gives me a boner though. They look so vulnerable like this.

>you lose sight of the enemy
>try to run away
>they're behind you
I fucking hate it when lose sight of an enemy due to either the AI being smart or my gross incompetence
But it's even worse they they found a way to circle behind you, pretty sure the Soldiers from Fear tried flanking you a lot

You can't really lose sight of the soldiers in FEAR because they never stop talking.

If you somehow managed to get flanked by the soldiers in FEAR, you have some problems you need to deal with.

Tfw Aku won't be as good because his original VA dieded.

DLC BUYIN

Yeah I'll probably just go buy it. Hell, I could probably go down to Adult Swim and ask them.

...

They're definitely more vulnerable when they roll over and present themselves.

MEME FORCIN

The head part of a Divider.
And/or the Creeper if you want to count 3.

>Boss have breakable body parts/armor
>Breaking away its parts only reveal more horrifying bits on the inside

That teddy bear boss from Splatterhouse is probably what started this unnerving feeling for me.

S T O P

>kill Big spider
>it spawn small spiders
>small spiders stick to you and explodes, causing you to get staggered and get stunlocked by big spiers

Are you guys excited about Season 5?

spiders no matter how poorly they look and not resemble a spider. Fuck was shrieking like a bitch when a minecraft spider was chasing me. Fuck phobias

...

>come to thread for peenus weenus

Oh no

And then you're the one who becomes vulnerable when you try to fuck them

I'm kind of sad that he is lost and is very different from the old Jack. It was amusing to see his samurai reactions to everything, I hope he doesn't become a full renegade and loses who he is 100%.

It also sucks that he lost his sword, hope he finds it quick

...

Why do you have to be so mean

To be fair we've gotten 4 seasons of 'samurai' jack. I don't think he'll lose his code of honor but he'll probably have difficulty maintaining who he originally was, which'll be interesting to see.

I'm more sad that the scotsman is most likely going to be dead, wonder if or how they'll fit him in somewhere

there's a leaked image, he's old as fuck and is on a wheelchair

They at least picked the best possible voice actor to replace Mako. I'm still hype for Aku

Not creepy at all, I'm more concerned as to why they go into a playing dead position when they actually get killed.

EASILY TRIGGERED

SOY FACED SHILPIT

If this new season doesn't have any humour it'll be shit

Samurai jack was a funny show

youtube.com/watch?v=n8mcDmXqo3w

>Enemy is giant spider
>Killing them releases countless smaller spiders

Spider limbs function under something closer to a spring and hydraulic system rather than the contracting muscles we're all used to. When they die the hydraulics go out and the springs all contract into their resting state.

Don't worry, Genndy said they'll be humor and serious moments, like in the old seasons.

According to an interview with the creators, Aku is depressed and in therapy because he haven't been able to kill Jack in 50 years, and even age won't kill him
So I wouldn't worry

>Enemy is a human spider composed of corpses.
>Enemy throws corpses as their attack and makes more spiders

>>Enemy is a human spider composed of corpses.

fuck Tzimisce

BEFORE THE FINAL BLOW WAS STRUCK I TORE A PORTAL OPEN IN TIME AND FLUNG HIM INTO THE FUTURE

Who is it? I was hoping it would be the guy they got to replace him for Iroh in A:TLA

Man, this fucking thing made the spookiest of spook noises in Dead Space 1.

They got Azula's VA, it would make sense if they had Iroh's too

WHERE MY EVIL IS LAW

WHERE MY EVIL IS RAW

>shoot enemy's legs out
>they quickly crawl to you, knock you on the floor and beat you to death if you don't kill them fast enough

WHERE MY EVIL IS RAW

NOW THE FOOL SEEKS TO RETURN TO THE PAST AND UNDO THE FUTURE THAT IS AKU

Sounds like good ol' body horror that you're afraid of.

What the fuck is this bullshit

Like this OP?

>Shoot enemy's leg off
>It falls over face down and lays there for a second
>Suddenly it slithers at you lightning quick and leaps up at your face and starts chewing on your neck

what image?

>image
>Copyright infringement
What.

This, but bigger, and a .gif

I thought that was one of those spider inside headphone pictures

>Their death animation is flipping over on its back and it's legs curling up
So much this.

For the longest time, video game levels set inside living bodies would creep the hell out of me, even make me physically ill. As you can imagine, getting through Jabbu-Jabbu's insides was quite an ordeal for me back in the day.

youtu.be/JXtujxT9rzA?t=1m25s

>tfw the sounds they make is the loudest things in the game

A fucking block spider shouldn't scare me as much as it does

Genndy is still Genndy, look:

>scp 682

have fun user

>RPG
>Scary as fuck looking boss.
>Dispatch it with ease.
>Spend the next hour looking over my shoulder because it must be a trick.

Acid always fucks me up.

What the actual fuck.

Overlapping voices coming from one person. Not sure if it has an official name but It's always unsettling to me.

>horror game where monster is only briefly seen
"haha! I'll just take a screenshot!"
>prntscrn
>monster isn't there
