God I can't wait, who here is also excited
apart from what we already know
what other possible changes/additions would you guys like to see in the game(s)

personally, I wanna see them recreate all the cut/unfinished levels from 1,2 and 3 and put them in their own warp room.

Doubt they'll add any brand new content. They might add Stormy Ascent as bonus in Crash 1 at a push maybe.

I'm hoping CTR is secretly included, or at least as a DLC purchase.

I'm half expecting Crash Bash dlc that takes advantage of some VR gimmicks. No CTR though.

The animations look so soulless. I really hope they're still working on it.

The crash bandicoot (pre PS1 era) series are the only games i ever play.

I also wanna see longer/better cinematic intros for the bosses

Dude its just a graphical update to the same games you already played. Whats there to be excited about?

Not OP but not true. New features and content is confirmed.

everything you mentioned plus, brings Crash back into the limelight to where people actually talk about him, revival of the series could mean a new game, what said, possible revival of Spyro the Dragon because of this.

They're the only games you should play.

It's a remake done right.

>(pre PS1 era)
?

Crash was always trash, call me when they're remaking something actually good like Spyro.

>pre PS1 era

nigga are you retarded?

Spyro was so fucking tedious compared to Crash. The Crash games were always structured really well and I never felt bored

cross the fingers for the stormy ascent

>pre PS1 era

>shitty collectathon
>better than an actual platformer

The game looks more appealing upscaled than the remakes.

this
i love spyro

Maybe he meant pre-PS2 era.

why is it that when it comes to 3D platformers, people prefer the collectathons over the straight up plateformer?

to 100% Crash you need skill at platforming
with most of the collectathons, including Spyro, all you need to do was look for something hidden

As a Spyrofag who wants the same, I strongly disagree on Crash being trash.

I'm glad Sony gave enough fucks to bring him back, even if R&C and moviegame-characters are all they care about.

3D level design that consists of a single long hallway is not my idea of interesting.

Because they're way easier to play and people fell for the openwurld sandbox meme

You must hate 2D platformers as well then

but empty levels are interesting to you?

No idea. Ps1 crash and spyro are pretty good, but just personally prefer crash games.

Because collectathons tend to have actually fun movement mechanics while pure platformers like Crash are entirely reliant on their level design which in Crash's case is completely mediocre. There's a reason people are excited for Mario Odyssey, it means that we're not going to be stuck with boring Mario Galaxy clones til the end of time.

same, I love Spyro, but Crash is so much better in pretty much every category or they are tied

>Game that would have benefited the most from a remaster with online multiplayer isn't included

What galaxy clones?

>platformers like Crash are entirely reliant on their level design which in Crash's case is completely mediocre

just stop

Nah, because that's the inherent limitation of the genre of 2D platformer. You don't expect there to be a third direction to go when you can only move in two directions. Crash pretends to be a 3D game but its level design is regressive, its just a derivative clone of popular 2D platformers that came before it only with a new coat of paint. Everyone else at the time was trying to do cool new things with 3D, meanwhile Naughty Dog was making the most bland, uninspired game they could.

Only things notable about Crash are the visuals and the marketing.

>actually fun movement mechanics

I mean within the Mario series. 3D World and Land are Galaxy clones, I was worried we were never going to see a Mario game that was actually fun to control ever again.

It's really easy to spot someone who has never played crash before because they believe you're on rails and the 3D adds nothing to the 2D section of the levels.

You're a fucking retard dude.

Quake is 3D level design, Mario 64 is 3D level design, Crash is a hallway. Granted it has little secret 2D platformer segments hidden here and there, but I always found the game painfully boring.

and what makes you think MO will have different controls?

>it has little secret 2D platformer segments
You never played the game you fucking retard.

Stop shitposting and go back to your shitty muhryoh thread.

>Crash is a hallway
so everytime you walk down a hallway, your world becomes 2D

>what other possible changes/additions would you guys like to see in the game(s)
Wrath of Cortex secret levels

Haven't played those, but those look like they're different from galaxy games. Well at least they for the time being stopped making those new super mario bros games. They only made like 5-6 of those.

if they did Wrath of Cortex in the style and feel of these 3 games I would be fine with that, there was actually a lot of fun and inventive ideas in Wrath, but it just didnt execute well

I hope the bosses are a bit more challenging this time, after years of playing they become so easy

Powers from 3 as an award in 1 and 2. Maybe for doing all the Time Trials they're adding in now.

that would be cool, but only as a new game plus kinda thing

how do you go about this

>tfw we'll never see a new Crash game by Naughty Dog with their god tier animators

I don't even hate Uncharted or TLoU. I just want another platformer, even if it's Jak.

Glitch hight jump
spin jump break the box on top of the tnt
spin jump again off the tnt and spin again to break the last box while avoiding the explosion

Just mash spin with that one upgrade

>giving money to activision
No.

Footage of remastered Crash 2/3 WHEN

WHEN

ICE HOCKEY FROM ACTIVISION

If this is successful I don't see why they wouldn't in the future
