Least favorite horror video game cliche?

bonus points if it isn't jumpscares.

first person

I was surprised to say the least how much Alan Wake has stolen from SH series.

Sticking your hands into toilets is always great, fuck off nerd

I love that cliche. It's just a pic.

Calm down Sasha.

I'mm calm down once you first that toilet

>the door is locked
>this old ass, hundreds of years old, rotten, wooden door is locked and there's absolutely nothing I can fucking do about it
>nope not even with this axe, no sir
>this gun sure can't break this impenetrable barrier either
>especially this shotgun
>nope, better go find a special magical key which is the only way to open this door

Horror games are fucking shit.

Is it an ingredient for a Jill sandwich?

>not drinking from one

fucking normies.

>not liking puzzles

>nonsensical fetch quest
>puzzle
only if the game's a piece of shit

>not liking puzzles
>puzzles

apparently looking for your lost car keys is a puzzle now

the inevitable maid outfit, then the nurse outfit, then the schoolgirl outfit, etc etc

What?

why would you make a thread about things you hate

why not :)

...

This thread is about horror games

That like adventure games theyre one time only appeal, once you know whats gonna happen its no longer scary, once you've figured the game out and know when youre vulnerable and when not it just isnt that fun.

scarier then any horror game

>about things you hate
There's a board dedicated for that m8
Called Sup Forums

>bathrooms are the turning point between normal and horror

Why is this?

That's what difficulty levels and New Game + are for ya dingus

I'm aware.

because a toilet is like a scary hole you could fall into and never come back out of

didn't a SH developer say something like this once?

Fuck off
Toilet scenes is best thing in horrors

>butter up my pooper

typical pewdiepie title bait

Visit Australia and you'll know why.

Original game was created when your eceleb thrash was in the fucking kindergarten

How can it be pewdiepie title bait? There's nothing about the aryan race or killing the jews

>someone actually right for once on here

you broken me

>eceleb thrash
When did metallica do let's plays?

get help before it's too late

Enemies that don't have any special or magical abilities who disappear after turning a corner.

Absolutely immortal enemies that you can only run away from. A lot of times they feel like a cheap way to build tension.

Sewer levels, but i guess that applies to gaming in general.

...

False scares are the dumbest thing in horror. Movies, games, books, whatever

Blood splattering the screen. Never liked it in movies either.
