Need for Speed

friendly reminder that you're never going to see a god-tier NFS game ever again.

A good sequel to the first part, really took the import racer customization to the max

However, there were things I couldn't stand, and for a these I give it 6-7 out of 10.

>SUVs
>they put a fucking vauxhall (???) in the EU release and put a Honda Civic, an icon of tuners really, only in the US version
>Music is worse
>The story is absurd, hard to keep track of, I was baffled when they switched from the video cutscenes (which blew my mind back in NFSU1) to some absurd shit comics, you feel 0 connection to ANY characters in the game, I can hardly remember a single one
>Back in NFSU1 you race against a crew, winner becomes the best, in NFSU2 you race against some criminal organisation that somehow dies off just because you beat them in races, what the hell
>URL races, they are useless and boring, no need to switch from the tournaments in 1 to the way in sequel

And above all, fuck do I still hate this shit with a passion - you cannot jump to races, so if you have 20 races in the south area, you still have to do that drift/sprint whatever in the hills, driving there is 5-10 min at least, not to mention driving around the whole fucking city just to race for another 10 minutes

Rubber-band AI is at it's worst also, but hey, at this point which game hasn't got that.

Bump. don't let this shit die OP, especially after my blogpost

bump

Thread as dead as the NFS series

the boss fight in this game was the most easy race you do in the whole campaign. i liked carbon more desu

>tfw Criterion NFS suck massive cock
Never been a fan of Burnout games, new NFS all feel like Burnout clones.

The Run was a fun game

What about the first Most Wanted tho. Might not have had the same customization but it had its own grunge underground style, pretty good story and graphics for the time, nice CG cutscenes, god-tier police.

...

TO THE WINDOOOOOOOW

...

Carbon had a great concept - incorporated the Fast&Furious 3 drifting very well, and the crew stuff was fun too

It did feel bit too short and could have been executed a bit better

It started to go shit somewhere along the games of Pro-street and Shift, because other games already held the niche of actual racing games, NFS should have stuck to the street racing it took over in 2004 or so

i enjoyed nfs2015 very much

>god-tier nfs
>posts underground 2

Absolutely based tbqh, could have put in a night setting too, came off too "orange", reminds me of fallout NV

you need to be at least 18 to post on this website

cringe af

It would ve better than nfsu1 if they added quicktravel or Just a next race menu. Fuck most wanted and the copchase shit.

but only underage faggots like ricing shit

...

...

How is enjoying a game cringe?

...

I really hope you're not implying that NFS has ever been good after the fifth one.

ProStreet was my favourite NFS game.

The story was shit as well, the characters made me want to kms

kys.

Does Porsche Unleashed have a custom tournament mode and where you can randomize the track list and track conditions? I really wish High Stakes had something like that.

Is this modded?

The road textures definitely are

NFS UG2 Textures Mod By Dragozool
The V1 version, since the later once go full retard on HD texture replacement syndrome.

...

Nice grafics, shame that the rest sucks horsedicks.

if I want to be an outlaw, I'll play GTA

kys.

I'm not sure if I understood what you mean, but both High Stakes and Porsche Unleashed have an option to randomize the soundtrack.
