Myriad of costume choices

>Myriad of costume choices.
>Cutscene/chat interactions use default outfit.

General things that annoy you in videogames.

Not big of a problem nowadays, but a few years ago games would have big boob'd characters with no boob phyics. Mildly annoying.

>game has only checkpoints

You can't expect them to draw anime style sprites for every iteration of costume. Or maybe you could considering the fucking price of them.

>Have a magic only build
>"Boy you sure are good swinging that sword around!"

That reminds me

>use a certain weapon
>cutscene starts
>actually see the weapon magically turn into the default character's pistol or whatever

Maybe not for a single man indie team trying to produce high quality games like undertale or Lisa but for an actual studio there's no fucking excuse to not have the art guy drawing while the coders are doing the actual fucking work. If you're actually paying for an artist they'd better finish sprite sheets in days, tops (ESPECIALLY anime pixel shit, which tellingly enough is literally a 13 year olds first project they do for free in an afternoon)

Some truth to this. Japan has a comiket convention where neets bring their self made manga, anime, and gsmes. Some do nothing but this year round until the next convention, many being highschoolers. That could be an untapped resource for cheap artist.

Ridiculously slow runs speeds. It almost feels like it's a cheap way to limit how fast people can progress in the game/story. Expansive maps with run speeds set to 0.12% or some shit. And mount speeds not being that much better, if they even offer mounts.

When did she said this meta shit. I though Tales don't break 4th wall

When do I get more outfits? I just made it to land again after going through some gate with a pirate. Still default shit.

Nigga, she didn't. That the cc from commentary.

Via cheat engine. Unless you're gonna spend money on that dlc shit.

Well I'm supposed to have DLC with CPY but I don't see any DLC shit anywhere.

>Myriad of costume choices that changes with your class
>cutscenes will change accordingly

Gamecopyworld has a new trainer from fling with 22 options. One of those is :unlock all fashion". You can just use that single option and not alter anything else for a regular play through.

>mass effect
>Witcher 3
> I think even the recent dragon age (can't remember)

Had the right idea. Their cutscene show you in what ever gear you were currently wearing.

What game?

It's easy when they are actually rendered the same way in-game is

>game's save system is an eloborate system of checkpoints, 4/5 every chapter spanning 12 chapters
>no way of starting a new game without getting rid of all of it

Recently replayed Dirge of Cerberus and it's honestly puzzling how much they fucked it up. And why is new game+ locked behind the hardest difficulty only?

you expect them to draw skits for every single piece of DLC costume all over again? are you fucking stupid? can't you be glad that all in-game cutscenes use world models and keep their costumes? what an entitled little fuck you are

>an actual studio

so you ARE fucking retarded, just because namco bandai is big doesn't mean they have infinite budget for all their franchises, or did you forget that tales of games are extremely niche thanks to the downfall of the series over the years and the lack of focus from the previous producer?

some companies do this and it's proven to be a terrible idea because the art is completely discordant with itself and you end up with protraits that look good and others that look god awful, see cygames

The DLC is on the inventory. You have to activate them there.

Stop being autistic for a second. These models aren't sketched. They are 3D generated as well. Doesn't take much to insert outfit pieces. This is 2017 not 2005.

One thing I found weird with tales of Berseria. She devours deamons but doesn't seem to get any stronger from it.

So I guess those aspects of a game that are just story gimmicks that don't really affect the game play at all can be annoying.

They replenish her. If she ate some of the therions she would have gone full Lord of Calamity.

>Game is extremely vague about the actual effects of stats and skills

Bonus points if game has stats like "Cunning" and "Willpower" and "Luck" where what it does is totally inconsistent across games.

Oh shit. Didn't know that. Still playing through.

"Watch your step! You won't be able to get out if you get stuck"

>invisible border makes it impossible to fall or do anything outside of pressing the button to activate jump.
