Does anyone else dislike being able to customize your characters? I like cute girls but if I am given the reins my character ends looking like a modern Bioware character

My characters always end up looking like this.
Gruff manly man with beard, and if possible full suit of armor, including helmet.
If not wearing helmed then goggles, gas mask and hood or similar.
