NIOH THREAD: Level 320 Weapon Edition
Just beat the Orgress.
Been doing all the sub missions but I'm getting burnt out
Just beat the main game, time for the side stuff and grinding out axe for a bit so I can finish off all the dojo stuff and get back to 3kat.
Grinding for a Yasakani Magatama but getting bored. May respec for spears or 2kats since I'm getting a little bored with 1kat despite being strong as fuck.
How do you make a 320 weapon? Is it random or do you have to do some special shit beforehand?
Koei i am NOT, under ANY circumstances gonna buy a ps4. it's subpar hardware compared to pc and not a good investment at all for me. it's 2017, pc has the greatest gaming population there is. you and all the stubborn devs and publishers still not willing to understeand that the biggest market is here on pc are cutting yourself out and doing a BIG disservice not only to us all but to your wallets as well. think about it.
Every time I see Fuku and her hips and that dress I get turned on.
Does that dress exist IRL?
I need more photos of women in that motherfucking dress.
where can I get level 320 gear?
Fuku is great
You'd just pirate our game. Sorry.
Yes.
You enjoy that low test girl anons.
She's good too.
>low test
>with those hips
>Level 98
>Still has one common equipment
Holy shit I'm dying
>Plebs with low rarity equipment
Pffft, Furuta Clan masterrace
See the funny thing is, the dress is nothing special, it's a bog standard Hakama that everybody wears, including the men. The difference of course is she's wearing what amounts to a one piece on top so it doesn't cover her thighs
WHAT BUILD SHOULD I DO NEXT
>ninja kuri build
>heavy armor 2kat
>heavy armor spear
do you gain benefits of an equipped weapon even if you don't use it?
i'm doin a magic sword playthru and i've had an axe equipped with +amirita, +gold, luck and drop rate for the longest time
bare fist and pure magic
There's a detailed list of every single effect your character has active on your status menu.
But bogs usually don't have thos cuts at the hip level to show the skin, right?
I did kendo during college, and they do have the cuts at the side. However, that part of the body is normally covered with the gi (jacket).
I see. But do they expose that much skin or the one Fukubisbwearing is modified?
I'll probably get one of those.
Are there some items you just can't make at the blacksmith or am I missing a shitload of recipes somehow? (In NG+) Only asking because it seems weird that there's some set items available but not the rest.
Yooo, that is a sick picture!
How do you get weapons and armor higher than 150?
>Doing way of the strong
>Decide to take a break from farming to do coop
>Guy I am summoned to help is weak but whatever I do fuck loads of damage
>Starts summoning revenants
>Ok I can put up with this
>Proceeds to just wail on guarding revenant with low stance dual kats until he runs out of stamina
>Every time
>Manage to get the revenants attention, counter/charge/stab out pops divines
>Try to position myself when he summons the next one to just take care of it for him
>Just spams 2kat again and the revenant keeps blocking
What the actual fuck
sickdark
>Still stuck on the fishing village
>Can't feel compelled to play through the game as the combat feels weightless and with no impact
>Don't care for the atmosphere either
>Play it for five to ten minutes before ditching it to go back to PC and leave PS4 on
Kill me desu
Breathe game on ng+, don't have the motivation 9f doing all the same levels again when they are all unlocked from the start
Just beat the game myself last night. Got a bit of a backlog, so I'm gonna go through that while I wait for the Dragon of the North to come out before I start playing again.
do you have a better quality one of it?
You didn't even give it a fair shot if u didn't beat the first real boss
The people who actively ask for help are generally really fucking shit at the game.
I've never died in co-op. Not summoning or being summoned. It's always the people I join that die. People I summon almost always live unless they get screwed by dropping down a hole or something.
007
Do you guys think Hanzo will die in the DLC?
I think everyone who unambiguously died historically also died in the game.
Also sequel set in English civil war with Cromwell as final boss when?
When are the DLC coming out?
This, I summon for bro-oping but when I go and try to help they die every single time. Even when im pulling agro. Makes me sad, least ive helped a few people clear the levels up to boss
>spend the first 25 hours playing 1kat
>respec into magic + 2kat instead of strength + 1kat
>fuck everything up with no issue
>sloth + defense down + carnage + water damage can melt through any boss in no time
>low stance for low stamina consumption and quick elemental damage effects
when did they add an easy mode?
Please tell me it's possible to get better than 4.5 on unlimited omnyo rolls
>Not wanting a prequel during the Warring States Era
>Not wanting to face against all these famous generals
>Not wanting to see the ending where The main character dies, but asks Saoirse to go forth and protect that whose destiny it is to save these god-forsaken lands
Just beat the final ninja and magic dojo missions for their mystic arts. Can I respec out of Dex and Magic now if all I use are the supports/passives or do those get benefits from having dex/magic? Also what's the best mystic art for them? I'm guessing the instant cast?
>Going through history on a Samurai Warriors scale, but with the gameplay of Nioh
Holy fuck I want this
whats a good weapon/build for someone thats generally bad at these types of games?
DATE FOR LIFE.
Sanada and/or Takeda are alright, though.
>sequel set in English civil war with Cromwell as final boss when
That sounds amazing.
>Summon a revenant that dies against a common yoki with axe
>He uses spear, sloth, and that heal magic
>Drops red oni set
Just to prove how shit one can be even with the help of the most scrub build.
Is there anything worst than this?
I don't really understand why people use set equipment.
If you just dump a few million into rerolling generic divine armor, 2 purple and blue stats on every piece is objectively better in every circumstance, based on what you're looking for.
Spear/magic
at this point i swear anything that isn't the axe has some sort of broken cheese play style
>sequel puts a Japanese guy in England fighting through english and christian demons
>get excalibur as a 1sword weapon with King Arthur as a special boss
You know it would happen.
Friendly reminder that it took Arthur Gies 8 hours to clear the fishing village in co-op.
Axe's cheese involves stacking heavy armor with less ki usage and spamming attacks with hyper armor.
Even on a level 280 mission, the boss will not be able to kill you before you kill it.
Assuming your equipment is up to snuff.
When the fuck is amazon getting more copies? I'm still playing yakuza 0 right now anyways but I was hoping this would ship before the switch came out.
Dat sweet, sweet luck bonus. All of the other clan effects seemed way too situational for me, so I went with something that'll help ease the pain of grinding out smithing tomes and other good gear.
Ninja Kuri. It's fucking ez modo. Reforge some low attack bonuses and ki reductions onto a 'gama, then select the MA that raises the damage and lowers the ki usage of attacks made with the weight, and enjoy the whirlwind of death. Near as I can tell, all quick attacks use the weight, so all of your stances can benefit from that MA. Low's quick combo is just fucking brutal, though.
>level 120
>STILL getting summoned to water shrine so the host can die to big wet even though im blasting the cunt
i want off umi bozus wild ride
I'm still getting fucking summoned into the first stage at 105. By people in the 80s!
>want to stop wearing warrior of the west set
>cant find anything better
when will this fucking end? all i keep getting is upgraded versions of this armor set and its always better than any other armor ive been finding so i have no choice but to use it.
you sure you're not being summoned into way of the strong?
Get 500,000 proficiency in whatever weapon you love using and youll have access to better armor sets later
I have yet to beat the final level, so I'm pretty sure that's not the case. I wanted to farm some glory for the skins, which is why I'm going into co-op right now. Plus I'm having a ton of fun just blowing through these early stages and helping shitters out.
>Level 320
Good lord, I just got to the 5th region and haven't even beaten the game once yet.
Calm down
Well, I'm a retard.
was meant for you.
If you want a strong ass ninja build just wear "Head Ninja: IGA set" with the bunny guardian spirit, that'll give you +150 ninjutsu power plus some other goodies.
It's a nice ninja armor/spirit combo if you like using ninjutsu a lot.
They're talking about gear level not William level.
Source of Evil is an annoying fucking level. And then you reach the boss and it's over in less than 3 minutes. Like, what the fuck? I waded through gank after gank of revenants and yokai for that?
Don't like puzzle bosses that die to your instant spam attack?
Don't worry, the next main mission is far better. has one of the best bosses in the game.
>First mission in NG+
>Summon a Revenant
>Immediately get 4 pieces of green Crossed Sickle set
Radical
I fucking hope so. The novelty is starting to wear off on this game. Sakon was fun but fairly easy and the previous level was just soliders who died in 5 hits instead of one hit.
