Nintendo fans 2 years ago: - NX will be powerful. - Nintendo listened to their fans - They really tried something new with the Wii U but now it's Nintendo going back to compete with Sony and Microsoft - They wouldn't release a console less powerful than PS4 because they learned their mistakes. They are smart not to compete with a 3,5 year old hardware. - Sure they made some mistakes with the Wii U but they are making dozens of new games to release on Nintendo NX launch - Nintendo didn't release Metroid and F-zero because the Wii U couldn't handle 1080p60fps. They will include those on NX - Nintendo is not going to go full mobile because mobile market is already flooded with puzzle and cheap rpgs. - Of course Nintendo NX will run Wii U games. And it will upscale them with higher resolution and provide better performance.
Nintendo fans now: - Bomberman is such a great exclusive. - Mobile games are not bad user... You are just focused too much on graphics and muh cinematic games. You need to remember it's all about the gameplay! - best thing ever is to be able to play Mario Kart 8 and World of Goo while you are on a trip. - 32GB is more than enough. Besides, a 128GB SDXC card is only $39,99 What are you poor or something? - The HD Rumble is a next-gen technology in video games. You guys are too attached to traditional ways of playing games and are afraid to try something new - What? It will sell like water! A tablet with two attachable controllers is better that we ALL could ever expect! - 720p in a 6 inch screen and TWICE THE RESOLUTION docked is amazing new technology. Hell, it can potentially run Youtube videos in fucking 4K. - Up to 8 people can play multiplayer with Bluetooth - Admit it: at least Nintendo is trying something new instead of making the same muh anime, muh action, muh shooter, muh fps. - The Switch is completely different from the Wii U, fixes basically everything that was wrong with it.

Why do idiots still think Nintendo is trying to compete with Sony and Microsoft? They haven't been trying to do that in over a decade. They'll be aiming for the DS/3DS audience with this. There is no reason to compare this to the PS4. It wont have similar games, it wont be a """media center""", and it's a handheld not a home console (HDMI out does not make a tablet a console no matter what Nintendo says to market it). It's a totally different product.

How is it competing? People buy the PS4 to play Call of Duty, Fifa, Assassins creed, and Madden. People buy Nintendo handhelds to play Pokemon, Mario, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, and now Zelda. The games aren't even remotely similar. On top of that the PS4 is a blu-ray player while a handheld is obviously handheld.

The PS4 is at 54m now and sales always drop off hard after the first few years. Second, why would you think that? I would think that most people who were at all interested in BB would have either bought a PS4 by now or watched a lets play. It wont break 3 mil.

Once PS4 gets more price drop in South America, Russia and India it will eventually reach 100m.
