I played the Nier game from ps3 a while ago(years) but didnt bother to get all the endings and never played the drakengard saga.
There are people shitting on Horizon now but most of the time Sup Forums shit on every new game.
Which should I pick? I really need your advice in this one.

I'm buying both, but Nier will be guaranteed to have good combat at a minimum (Platinum Studio), and will likely have a bizzare but satisfying story-arc (Yoko Weird shit Taro).
Horizon is a very big possibility to be pretty bad. It's been hyped to insane levels and is likely a middle-tier Ubisoft open world theme park design meme game. I still think it'll be fun.
I bet both are pretty much 'worth playing', but Nier will be above and beyond the better game if you have any form of taste.

If switching arrow to aim at weak points and magnet sliding melee combat is considered a good combat system then oh boy is it the best.

The AI on the enemies are bad and animations are awful. Framerate drops at random times. invisible walls. Zones where you will just simply die because the game does't want you to be there. MIST EVERYWHERE (to keep you from seeing to far) These are all the points I can make to the game without the bias to all forced diveresity stuff being brought up/
