Will the best CD Projekt game ever be released?
Cyberpunk 2077

Sure, in 2077 if they're to be held to their word

Did someone say vaporware thread?

I'm starting to feel anxious about this whole project
we've been kept in the dark for years
I want them to do it right. If they don't I WON'T BUY IT
It's getting the Half-Life 3 treatment. Were still in the "oh yeah it's definitely coming" phase like valve was in 2007-2010. After that it'll change to the second phase of Valve statements "we have nothing to talk about Cyberpunk 2077 right now" until the rest of times.
>Half-Life 3
But it got released, didn't you play it?
Wrong. Valve and the development team around HL3 are WAY TOO SELF-CONSCIOUS about the game. It's been in development hell for so long because they're afraid of letting people down. (On top of the fact they probably want it to be the most flawless piece they've ever created so they can finally count to 3.)
CDP and CDPR on the other hand are not self conscious as a whole for shit. They're so fucking confident they are probably going to methodically rape development until they're finally ready to cum inside the competition with another Masterpiece.
Cyberpunk 2077 actually has people working on it.
I wonder whether you guys truly believe this game is going to be good, or you are just a couple of Cyberpunk niggers waiting for another Cyberpunk shovelware fix to be thrown your way so you really don't care if it's going to be shit.
>I wonder if you guys truly believe this game is going to be good
>CD Projekt Red
Kek'd
Every time I browse my LinkedIn I see another job offer from CDPR to join the C2077 team.
Probably nothing until E3 2018 tho
>CDPR
>showelware
hmm...
People will hate it for not being Witcher 4.
It will be the best game ever released on this planet!
no exceptions.
It's a passion project, you got the creator of the table top game working with it, plus a team of people who are obsessed with Cyberpunk.
if I was working on this game I'd want it to be perfect, I'd work my ass off. I just love Cyberpunk that much.
You won't see this come out for a LOOOOONG while.
but they've already let me down with episode 2
I smell potential greatness but only time will tell...
This.
I was excited to see Mike Pondsmith involved with the game. I've been a fan of the series since I played Cyberpunk 2020.
The question is, will it come out before or after Death Stranding?
>CDPR
>passion projects

>injecting console wars
You're the only toddler here.
it's true tho, never even nintenyearold
Why do Normies like The Witcher 3 even though they never played 1 or 2
Also take into account that the first HL was basically just a tech demo for GoldSource. And HL2 was basically just a tech demo for Source.
HL3 is probably going to coincide with Source 3.
I want more 1980s influence in this.
I wonder if it will be "just" a Cyberpunk GTA
It's already 5 years too late for that to be interesting, it'll be stale for even mentally slower folk such as yourself by the time this game comes out.
At this point its literally a coin flip whether or not Cyberpunk 2077 will be vaporware or not. Were still 2-3 years from release, and CDPR has been mentioning the game as far back as Q3 2012.
If the game comes out in 2019, it will have had 8 continuous years of development by a team larger than the TW3, and if thats the case it should be held to the highest standard a video game has ever been held to, and it should also be the best game ever created.
Looking at the whole Prey 2 deal I'd say the latter
Cyberfags would eat shit as long as it's cyberpunk
Nah I don't think we'll see footage until late 2018 but more likely mid to late 2019 with a release in 2020. Assuming everything goes all according to plan.
Also to those who don't know it is being worked on right now and they were just awarded a huge grant of money from Poland to work on seamless multiplayer research or something like that.
I want to see this game be great so I hope they take all the time they need. I'm sure it will be good. This is their victory dance game. This is when they lap everyone.
After The Witcher 3 CDPR deserves everything. I have never played such a great game. For only $25 you get the huge base game with every extra content and without any anti piracy protection.
The Witcher 3 is so great, the characters so beautiful and the best thing no sjw content. There is a at least one tranny and one gay person, but instead of calling other people white males and insulting the healthy structure of a family with a man, a women and children, the game does non of the sjw bullshit, but delivers an interesting story without any anti white racist propaganda.
The game is literally the opposite of Fake News
I'm more scared and skeptical it will be shit based off the whole 'hiring people to do cars' thing, which implies to me it's just going to be a fuckhuge map with little attention paid to smaller details (also evidenced by them only ever working with Fantasy settings where huge expansive maps fit the theme). The whole point of Cyberpunk being in towering overwhelming cities is that it's claustrophobic and tightly packed, having cars and shit completely defeats that.
Unless it's completely and only used for a 'wasteland' portion, in which case it's a whole other problem since the 'wasteland' has always been the least interesting stuff when it comes to Cyberpunk 2020.
If i go into it thinking it'll be shit i literally can't lose. If it's good i'm happy because i got a good game, if it's bad i'm vindicated because i thought it would be bad. I dunno even with Pondsmith i think it's such a gargantuan task, and i'm a huge 2020 fangay so it'll probably never live up to my dreams
yeah too bad it was developed by slavshits
y-you too...?
"Everyone has been sucking their cock lately. They better get their fucking shit together."
This is a fairly succinct way of describing Sup Forums's attitude towards just about everything.
CDPR better be willing to risk everything for this clusterfuck of a game.
I'm a major dystopia cyberpunk fag and I'm willing to drop 100$ on a pre order. I would suck cock for this to be better than TW3.
making cyberpunk is much harder than medieval fantasy, i hope cdpr doesn't fuck up
but i know it's happening
I wish they were making Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 instead.
Better be, pretty much done with video games as a whole, terrible hobby. 2077 will be my last hurrah. I want it to be good, but looking at everything else happening in the EU it'll probably just be more globlist propaganda.
They released first trailer in 2013 and the first edition was called Cyberpunk 2013, so I guess CDPR aiming into 2020 as a release date seems fairly plausible. The question is if they really can afford waiting this long with another release, while having only Gwent as a backup.
>I would suck cock for this to be better than TW3.
that's not a very big cock to suck
This. Jumping from medieval fantasy (easiest setting of fiction) to cyberpunk (hardest setting of fiction) is quite a bite to chew.
2077 is literally the only game I'm really looking forward to currently.
CDPR has plenty of passion, hyperbolic shitposting-man. That much is shown with the Witcher 3 expansions alone
Don't worry, OP. Everything will play out just fine.
Too bad between work and school it's too big of a game for me to chew through. :/
>After The Witcher 3 CDPR deserves everything.
Especially the shit I give them for ruining the series.
CDcucks are a disgrace to humanity. This level of delusion is amusing
...
cant wait
I don't think they will ever top TW1 in a few aspects. They didn't know what they were doing and had no experience, so they adapted the source material in an almost simulationist way, gameplay contributing to the atmosphere was the result.
TW2 and 3 had them playing AAA game dev and the game feel suffered, even if the controls got progressively better.
The issue with Cyberpunk is that it will be an open world game, instead of a hub based RPG.
Most people who played Witcher 3 and Blood&Wine are fine with the ending. It's time to move on from the IP.
"just" a Cyberpunk GTA would be a great game if done well.
Still people will be dissapointed since they are getting hyped for CP2077 for no reason at all

>Shit posters on Sup Forums scream that your game is now vaporware
Half Life 3 was never even announced
Half Life 2 Episode 3 was supposed to come out 8-9 years ago
We talking about CDPR not Ubisoft.
Everyone know that Witcher is done and most of the people are ok with that.
Everything will end, user.
>Most interviews over the last year or two mention how there's been people working on 2077 for a while, but they've been shifting their focus towards it as TW3 was wrapping up
>Surely it can't be more than two years away
>Game's twitter has dozens of open positions for senior roles in development
Expecting them to show off anything at E3 this year is probably too much after all.

unrelated, but source on that image?
Yeah, after I finished TW3, I really don't want anything else but another CDPR game.
Shit sux.
kill yourself shill
