What was that GCN game where you fought enemies with cards but it wasn't yugi-oh? Like, you'd pull out a card and it'd shoot a fireball at a goblin. I think you were a girl.

Here's some thicc.

Ya.

Glad I could help

Ask me literally anything, I'm a walking strategy guide

Was it good?

Why would you want independent cards when you can have 3 Rheebus, 2 Mind Flayers, a Water Bird, and then have the rest as Attack cards? You literally can't lose because you always get your cards back and you can't die because Rheebus and Water Bird

I've played my fiar share of Lost Kingdoms, too. I'm surprised other people know about it

I love it
It still holds up today, only problem I even have with it is that summons take too fucking long and some cards are just way better than others

Thats just it, you dont want independants or summons aside from hand of pain to buff your dragon knights. The game isnt the best at balance when lizardman and dragon knight exist, hell you dont even need card restoration to beat any stage in the game

excuse the audio desync

See, that's what I thought too. I wasn't sure if speedrunners of this game had some strats involving Independents rather than Attack, but it seems to me like I had the right idea from the very beginning.

>tfw I could probably speedrun this game too knowing this

There is a strat involving hand of pain (independant), once you move to a full dragon knight deck for the later stages, you run 5 hand of pain to double the damage of your dragon knights, effectively doubling the number of cards in your deck so you dont have to run restoration

If youre interested in running it, I'd definitely recommend it, I also have an all cards run mapped out if that interests you

I finished this game again a few days ago, actually. I didn't do the extra levels until I beat God of Destruction, and my time was at around 2 and a half hours. I bet if I did follow a speedrun guide, I could definitely get a decent time. Thanks, user. I'll check it out.

Good luck user
Also check out the Bridge of sarvan out of bounds skip if you havent already, should be around 15:45

Huh, never knew about that.
Then again, I never really looked up any glitches or anything about this game for whatever reason. Looks incredibly easy to pull off.

fat PIG

>Looks incredibly easy to pull off.
It is
Thats the only out of bounds in the run though, I've put a good amount of time into trying to find other weird shit to exploit but no luck.

Thick D.va. Now Im interested.

Now that we've settled your problem, post more thicc

everybody should play baten kaitos, that game was sick

Also, is it faster to alternate between two Dragon Knight cards rather than just using one up and moving to the next? Because I know that combo-ing 2 different attack cards is faster than using one card at a time, but I've never really tried alternating 2 of the same card

Much much faster. Some bosses and enemies can be stun locked when you alternate multiple copies of the same card, notable ones would be fire golem (blessoon) for lizardmen, god of destruction for dragon knights
