How the hell do you play FPS on console

I've been playing BF1 for like 50 hours now and I have no idea how to aim, no matter how hard I try my shit goes all over the place

Any idea?

slow and steady basically, for battlefield specifically, bipod if sniping.

learn to burst fire too, full auto is shite because "spread" (re: EA spread.)

also into hipfiring.

Only a few games anything thats multiplayer won't support it (excluding FFXIV) without buying an expensive 3rd party mouse and keyboard adapter.

Thanks, my issue is that when enemies are close I my aim moves too slow and when they're far it moves too fast, is that normal or I need to change the sensitivity?

When I played on consoles I got better once I used a lower sensitivity. I suggest playing around with lower and higher sens see what works for you.

Its kind of shitty though you either have to deal with turning very slow with better aim or turning very fast with aiming being much harder, very hard to find a middle ground.

That's basically my issue, and I snipe mostly so high sensitivity kinda sucks for me.

you can change sensitivity per magnification now in advanced options, sounds like you need to smooth out the sensitivities so your responses match what you want the character to do.

everything else is just patience and not trying to head on like rambo. (flank = winning)

Eh I mean BF1 is ridiculously well optimized you can run it at ultra on nvidias cheapest budget card the 1050ti and never drop below 50FPS.
