What is Sup Forums's definition of a "hardcore gamer"?
No casual, Highest difficulty only, +10 years playng games, +200 games at least completed but not 100%.
Plays most relevant games in a given genre or platform to 100% completion so he can have an informed opinion about it.
Doesn't matter if he likes it or has fun with it. If it's considered at least an above average game he will play it to 100%.
there is only one true test if a gamer is hardcore or not. Pic Related
Me.
And nobody else.
>Always play hardest difficulty
>Doesn't give up on games
>Does anything to win in a game
>Understands that Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos and Mountain Dew Voltage are GOAT
>100% completion
>Performs self-imposed challenges to improve their skill and better understand the game
i always thought Jorge was wearing some sort of hat but its just his hair and the lighting makes it look like a hat. Huh well TIL.
people who give up
Anyone who brags about their 100% completion I consider is hardcore. I have a friend who's an xbro and he's always bragging about how he's 100% every Gears game. Good for him.
The only games over ever 100% are bloodborne, ratchet and clank PS4 and ratchet and clank a crack in time (fuck that quark minigame)
I always absolutely hated Mt Dew but Voltage is some godlike stuff. They re-released Sprite Remix which is probably the best soda available right now.
I'd say there's multiple ways to qualify.
>Play games on hardest setting or at high competitive level.
>Have extensive knowledge of gameplay mechanics, in-game lore and/or video game industry history.
>Be an obsessive buyfag for media or merchandise from video games you like.
A faggot.
>Gave up soda and milk when I started lifting months ago
>Can't drink soda anymore without feeling sick
>Not used to the taste of regular milk anymore
Feels fucking bad
10+ hours a day, every day
I wouldn't want to be a (((hardcore))) gamer. I can think of nothing more boring.
I spend my time working on arcade machines (at work), buying obscure hardware I don't really need (got a JVC X'eye), and playing as many games as I can get my hands on. I average about 40 completions a year.
You can go stroke your hardcore dick all you want, but it won't make you better than me dude its literally electronic toys. You should enjoy them, not suffer for them.
A hobbyist, simple as that.
>tfw playing games for over 10 years and still always picking normal difficulty
why stop milk ?
An idort that actually beats most of their games or someone who has mastered a specific genre.
Who cares.
I don't see myself as hardcore, but I'm currently trying to beat all the cups in fzero gx on master to unlock the ax cup and I feel hardcore trying to perfect my line and times
This, everyone but me is SHIT at video games. I make it a point to state this in many threads in hopes that other anons realize how good I am at video games.
Dairy gives me acne
Is that Jorge from Sup Forums?
Somebody who doesn't like video games and spends more time complaining about them then playing them.
