Can someone explain divine equipment to me? Not quite sure I'm understanding it very well other than the part about soul matching to get more +'s added to them. How do you tell if you have a divine weapon and where can they come from?

they're green you only get the ng+ you gain familiarity with them and you can make them over level 150

No "epic" last boss fights like Gehrman, no "epic" optional boss like Nameless King.

So fucking dissapointed, which is a shame because the game was going in a great way with the giant frog and ice lady bosses.

I'm not disappointed but I do think the game could have been a fair bit harder.

The 100 eyes was a fucking shit boss without a doubt. When he got to the phase when all the eyes fire lasers I just left one alive while the boss stood there and did absolutely nothing

No idea, not using spear at all. I'm styling with it though, fire damage bonus is nice and it's pretty much the best armor I can get right now at 3rd region.

What was great about the ice lady? She took a few tries, sure, but still went down pretty fast.

So I've seen one weapon that scales with magic in this game and, since getting divine weapons, now see 3-4 weapons that scale with spirit.
Are there any other weapons that scale with magic? Is magic scaling a possible random trait?

not really. NGB is still their best selling game they've ever made. Nioh didn't sell amazing but it did get good reviews. both titles are pretty niche. no ninja gaiden sequels ever again are about as likely as no DOA sequels.

Pretty sure stat scaling in general is a random trait, though a bit uncommon. I haven't done much with forging though, past trying to get more unlimited skills.

Does anyone know the exact % chance shadowround talistmans give you? Do they work on all consumables or just ammo/ninjutsu?

Just beat the final boss.

Really was not fucking impressed. Combat was fun but the game was piss easy and got super repetitive. Every enemy follows generally the same strategy and, though it's been said a billion times, lack of variety hurts it more. Only boss (out of what, 30, barring repeats) that made me really sweat was the ice bitch.

It introduces a lot of new and progressive stuff but the base game is arguably as poor as DaS2. In terms of how fun the game was BB, DaS1 and 3, and DeS trump it.

You can back away from him and his closing-in moves are very predictable. You can also blast through his ki pretty easily and punish him on the ground. You can also smash him to bits using living weapon. You can also parry him.

As far as humanoid bosses go; nobunaga is piss easy compared to some.

I use bows and guns. Bows are quicker to draw, and if you have an auto-target weak spot bonus on them you can pop something in the face in a fraction of a second.

Are you confusing him with someone else? Nobunaga is one of the easiest bosses in the game.

I use whatever I find ammo for

Wanna know the secret? You run past them. Not worth the rewards at the cost of your health and elixers.

Bows can penetrate helmets but you have to be close.

My 1kat shits all over every revenant with the +19 break and guardian with +25 break. Regardless of their level or gear if they're blocking my sheathe-pop and downward slice demolishes their ki like it's not even there.

People dookie on the 1kat because they say it doesn't have a cheese move that spams damage, but that move I just described is overpowered as fuck simply because you can pull it out while you're blocking.

Fludity is good for combos. Stability is okay but you could just switch over to your sidearms.

Red Demon set is one of the best due to its light weight and good set bonuses. Either get it or get some stamina for the heavier sets. I prefer Sakon's spear over the red demon spear, but you won't get the ki bonus then.

Just end me. I managed to get through the Nobu and No fight but this one is just so fucking ridiculous. The area is so small and it's so fucking hard to punish openings because it they're practically hugging each other most of the time. Shiggy has to be taken out first as far as I can see. It's just impossible to focus on big man otherwise. Only good damage I get in is with a carnage, rifle headshot to shiggy, and then final blow with katana with mystic art. Everything after that is an uphill battle against tedium. I actually did kill Shiggy once but my resources were low and bigman caught me off guard with that fucking sanic thrust.
