why

...

There he is. There he goes again. Look, everyone! He posted it once again! Isn't he just the funniest guy around?! Oh my God.

I can almost see your pathetic overweight frame glowing in the dark, lit by your computer screen which is the only source of light in your room, giggling like a like girl as you once again type your little Gothic thread up and fill in the captcha. Or maybe you don't even fill in the captcha. Maybe you're such a disgusting NEET that you actually paid for a Sup Forums pass, so you just choose the picture. Oh, and we all know the picture. The "epic" seeker guy, isn't it? I imagine you little shit laughing so hard as you click it that you drop your Doritos on the floor, but it's ok, your mother will clean it up in the morning. Oh, that's right. Did I fail to mention? You live with your mother. You are a fat fucking fuckup, she's probably so sick of you already. So sick of having to do everything for you all goddamn day, every day, for a grown man who spends all his time on Sup Forums posting about a game. Just imagine this. She had you, and then she thought you were gonna be a scientist or an astronaut or something grand, and then you became a NEET. A pathetic Gothicfag NEET. She probably cries herself to sleep everyday thinking about how bad it is and how she wishes she could just disappear. She can't even try to talk with you because all you say is "BEST RPG EVER." You've become a parody of your own self. And that's all you are. A sad little man laughing in the dark by himself as he prepares to indulge in the same old dance that he's done a million times now. And that's all you'll ever be.

Forever...

Witcher 3?

Fuck OFF

...

The thing that really set Gothic apart was how well it worked within it's limitations to craft a believable world. For example, in most RPGs towns are very small compared to the real world and we have to suspend our disbelief, but in Gothic there's a good reason why the settlements are so small. There's a reason why there are so few people and no children. There's a reason why the surrounding landscape is full of terrible beasts. And there's even a reason why the player is confined within the bounds of the map. That to me was Gothic's X-factor, how little you needed to suspend your disbelief to become immersed in it's world.

Gothic II ruined all that. Khorinis is of similar size to The Old Camp despite being a real city, with a real poppulion. The local militia have done nothing about the monsters literally within a hundred feet of the city. And the land is now surrounded on three sides by an invisible barrier with no precedent. It feels like a generic video game world by comparison.

If you prefer Gothic II and have ever told someone to skip the first game, you are cancer.

Kurwa znowu ta nitka no ja pierdole CHUJU

Scavengers, that's what we call the big birds, should be attacked one after another.
It's easy to lure single scavengers from the pack. If you come too close they'll become agitated, after a while they will storm towards your direction, and you should be waiting for them, with a raised weapon. If you strike the beast before it hits you, you have to keep fighting to be able to defeat the creature. If it hits you first, well just don't let them.

He's right.

...

i bought this the other day and the controls are god fucking aweful, even for it's time it's clunky as fuck, the quests might be decent but it looks and plays like shit, even with mods

Maps tend to have names of locations written out.

Constant morrowind threads trigger the gothicfag.

As good as gothic is you shouldnt be triggered by other games.

That doesn't look like Skyrim my man

again? how many times do we need to discuss it until you are satisfied

...

I look forward to these threads every afternoon
