Styx master of shadows, a little Thiefish game that you need taste to enjoy. on steam, a nice buy before the sequel comes out with a lot of improvements on the old game which is what a sequel should be, looking forward to that.
banished was a cool game about stumbling upon some spanish colony where things went wrong and u phase into spirit realms and get spooked and fight skeletons with old muskets, guns and bows. dope game.

vr is very new but even without vr its a solid game where the dev manages to give you the real life scooba vision problem where you start panicking because there only so much you can see with diving gear. I got mad panicked when swimming over a pure black abyss as the light above doesnt reveal anything over 200 ft deep

All I can recommend is keep trying with online people. I met an amazing group of people playing Destiny and we hang out in party chat even when not playing. Maybe I got a bit lucky but honestly I think it's probably worth to keep trying.

I think the issue might be he wanted to make friends but the reality of MMOs isn't what he imagined MMOs would be like. Less grouping up with people to adventure in an online world and more "rush to end game and complain there's no content".
