3 months

>3 months

yeah. granted they gave us two chapters to play but what the fuck, been waiting for news on chapter 3

just like season 2 clem will be the only good character. everyone else is fucking forgettable other than waifutier korean girl, who doesn't even have a name.

I'd want to take more than 3 months before releasing the disasters that were those first two episodes.

They haven't dropped the whole season yet? I'd just assumed shit was all out by the end of last month.

I legitimately forgot this came out

Episode 3 this week, right? The Clem playtime is the only redeeming part of this season so far.

>buying Telltale games before all 5 episodes are out

>That clementine

why would you want more? ANF was fucking trash

I just watch the youtube lets plays

Not OP, but the only reason I'm following is Clementine. But yeah, episodes are pretty bad overall.

the walking dead games are some of the worst telltale games story wise. aggressively forced drama and stupid behavior on part of the characters.

the batman one was also garbage.

>granted they gave us two chapters to play
Yeah, and the second one was what, half-hour long? No thanks, that doesn't excuse anything.

I liked the first season but I'm cursing it ever came out becasue it's success fully changed telltale. All they do now is bad to middling licensed shit. They give so little shit about the 'choices' meme you can see the strings as clear as day.

I wish Telltale would actually slow down a bit and restructure their entire development and business model.
I genuinely think they're overworking themselves, releasing in sloppy, unpolished products.
They should focus on fewer licenses at a time and really polish them, and perhaps shorten the episodic model from an average 5 episodes per game to three longer episodes.

>buying Telltale games
>not pirating them

They don't care though. People eat this shit up, so the only effort they need is securing licenses

Why would they, their shit still sells like hotcakes. A popular license alone is enough to make a hefty profit.

The only thing that's going to happen in 3 months is me not playing a shitty visual novel that pretends to have choices

>le sad telltale face

They don't even bother with nuance. All the characters have four expressions, " :0 " , " :-| " and " :D " .

Like, fuck's sake, TRY for once.

This comparison is not even fair to VN. Those atleast have a bit of care put into their stories.

their writing is so fucking lazy and transparent I'm calling deaths and plot points 5 minutes after meeting a character.

It's also pretty easy to tell when they want people to make certain choices and when you don't the story falls apart.

...

If you only consider the time they only gave 1 episode.

Hell if you are a little faster and don't take your time you can play both episodes easily in under 1 and a half hour (I don't even mean speedrun like, I only mean without any serious time sink like standing around.

What did you guys think of TWD S2?

without clem it would have been fucking garbage.. with her, it was okay.

Without Clem, no one would have been able to do anything. The whole group relied on her for everything.

It was shorter and less polished, and the characters weren't as good. Still, it had it's moments, and I thought S2 ended on a way stronger note than S1
