PS4 has sold exceedingly well meaning it is going to be getting the vast majority of the big splashy AAA games that will be coming out this generation. It is also made by a japanese company so you also get all the weird niche japanese games. Last generation the PS3 sold poorly enough that you couldnt guarantee all the mainstream games coming out on it and so there was an actual choice to be made. This generation you get the best of both worlds so the choice is clear.

Unless you really love an exclusive on the ONE at which point the question is pointless

If you don't care about 4K DVDs and don't live in North America then definitely get the PS4.

PS4, the new XBox is coming out sometime soon, might be worth just waiting for that if you want XBox hardware.

Check their game libraries. They are both the same fucking thing with different exclusives. For example you can't play forza on a PS4 but you also can't play uncharted on a xbox one. Just know that microsoft is currently trying to merge their xbox brand with PC, so PC takes more from xbox than it does from PS4.

They are very similar go with the one you can get for the cheap maybe bundled with a game if you like weeb games get a PS4 if you like racing and tps then a Xbox is a good choice.

if you can discern framerate and care when it drops, yes.
