You play it on the field in your spell/trap zone, and it must be immediately tributed to your graveyard.
When Pot of greed enters your graveyard from the field by tribute, you must take the top card of your deck and place it into your hand. Then you must take the top card of your deck and place that into your hand as well. Then your mother will die in her sleep if you do not respond to this post. Once the effect has resolved you may continue with your turn and use those new cards in your hand as if they were always in your hand to begin with.

Basically, the problem was her always being matched against the big guys.
That's the reason she became evil in the Dragons season, she was tired of getting no recognition even if she was the 4th best duelist around so she resorted to illegal duels underground and thing went down the drain from there. By GX, Pegasus recognizes Edo Phoenix as the 4th best duelist in the world after Yugi, Kaiba and Joey.

I saw it pass. I had cards. But to be honest, I didn't care much for it. I hoped it would make me feel like Pokemon used to make me feel, but I was still empty.

That was the first deck I ever played (via tag force 2). If they really are coming soon I'll definitely play them.

Then eventually get bored of them and quit until synchro.

My main problem with YGOTAS is that instead of writing actual jokes, he relies too heavily on memes and shit. At least DBZA has some genuinely funny dialogue and moments.

She's lost against mooks as well. Mai is a terrible duelist who only smurfs or has insanely busted shit(Mirror Wall with no life point Cost and Feather duster for example).

Joey Wheeler is hands down the best duelist in the series, he was able to get to the Battle City finals without magic or god cards, doesn't have the money for all the expensive cards and shit, hell he can barely afford his duel disk and was able to escape a very toxic childhood to rise to stardom.

Wait for the new mechanic to come out before you get into the game so you can learn one game instead of two. The new mechanic "link summoning" is actually intended to slow the game down and make the game more thinking oriented than lul spam 18 monsters
