i would have gladly bought a used ps4 pro. unfortunately it's too superior of a product so no one actually sells their ps4 pro. the default ps4 had a lot of shit wrong with it.

Isn't the opposite? They push used games because they make all the profit off them, it's why they'll encourage you to buy a used game even if you ask for new.

not sure where you live but here in nyc they definitely sell used games at brand new. i remember i bought some shitty ps2 game back when i was in junior high, went home, played it and it was shit and came right back to return it and they would only give me $35 for it, when i literally just dropped $50 for it 2 hours prior. i asked if he was going to sell it for $50 new and he was like yup. nigga didn't even care. like it was the same exact dude that sold me the shit earlier too, that was the worst part, they truly don't give a fuck. i avoid buying anything from gamestop if i can. i rather give my money to best buy than fucking GS. can't wait for them to go out of business.

I don't mind buying a used game, I can take that gamble on $10-50. But do people really buy used consoles?

i don't think they ever took returns on new games, but when i was a teenager i used to buy used psp games, play it for a week, then return it for full price since you can return used games up to 2 weeks. then i would buy another, and repeat. i was basically playing games for free for a while.

the honest truth was they could afford to do that then.

in this world of mobile games and digital downloads and dlc, the traditional brick and mortar game shop is basically sort of fucked
