HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
LITERALLY MAJORAS MASK 2.0

Well, Farth in the Wild looked like a meme game after all.
RE-FIGHTING BOSSES HOLY SHIT
This is like the first really good thing I've seen in this game. Not trying to be passive aggressive, I wish all Zeldas had something like this.
Yup
is this terraria reference?
With the durability system it seems most people talk about avoiding fighting, so i don't think this will be a good thing, sounds tedious.
So what? How is that funny or bad in any way?
Go outside. Seek help, OP.
>MAJORAS MASK 2.0
That's the first good thing I've heard about this game
I remember during Skyward Sword previews getting hyped when they talked about how Link's hometown was full of sidequests and basically Majora's Mask 2.0.
I won't be burned again.
This is probably the first Zelda game I think can of that actually entices replayability.
Usually you beat a Zelda game you're done. This looks like something I'd come back to just to fuck around in the world with.
Similar to how I come back to MGSV just to run around and fuck about the world.
No joke I've put 200 hours into MGSV. That game simply doesn't warrant such hours but it's just that fun. This looks even more fun.
>you have to replay missions on a harder difficulty
This is sounding too familiar
>Re-Fighting bosses
>In a series with no combat/class variety, learning curve or difficulty
wew, i sure love dodging moves choreographed 15s before they're used, hitting the blinking red light and then slapping the weak spot with a tree branch 3 times.
The only franchise bosses worth fighting are a handful from the 2D/Top-Down games because they're Bullet Hell-lite.
>Blood Moon
Breath of the Wild = Bloodborne 2
Is this just a handwave as to why enemies just respawn?
MGSV's boring immortal outposts were the worst.
They only respawn on bloodmoon
That dude seems pretty cool
Sounds cool to me
What's with the absolute lack of color and contrast?
That's OoT you dumb fuck, that happened at night
This was my first thought also.
I'm a little optimistic though, i heard from gamexplain that characters have schedules and can be seen doing different things at different times of day, going to work etc.
Majora's mask 2.0? I'm sold, thanks underage.
when does your picture happen in Majora, OP?
What in the name of fuck are you even talking about, none of this post makes any sense.
What does the moon being red have to do with MM? What does the "kingdom in chaos" trope have to do with MM more than any other of the myriad stories that use the same setup? How can BOTW be to TP what MM was to OOT if they're released 10 years apart and don't use the same engine? And if BOTW is similar to MM, how is that a bad thing?
This is like avant garde shitposting
>likes MM
>calls others underage
Fedora's Mask
Happens in Dragon's Dogma too, and that doesn't make the characters or the town interesting.
The series has so many problems with the 3 major aspects of development (Gameplay, Graphics & Story) that minor shit like NPC schedules and TECHNOLOGY is such a stupid thing to be focused on.
And it's their only selling point(s).
shouldnt you be playing uncharted 4 on your ps4, son?
The game leaked in Brazil. Brace for spoilers.
I see what you have done there.
They gonna rip off every Tales game and do the whole malevolence thing too, while they're at it?
>re-fighting zelda bosses
>fun
>Brace for spoilers
Huefag here, I'll tag so nobody gets offended.
You kill Ganon, rescue Zelda and save Hyrule
/endspoilers
Macaco filho da puta!
Is this a jojo reference reference
Skyward Sword did this fyi.
if you're not having fun fighting things in games then why are you playing games?
DELETE THIS
>You kill Ganon, rescue Zelda and save Hyrule
lel
you actually are Ganon from the beginning
git gud
fighting zelda bosses over again can be fun but its also retarded in this manner. It's better utilized through a boss-rush mode or a challenge mode like Skyward Sword. This is the same kind of retarded shit that was in Majora's Mask that virtually erases any kind of special progress you make on the world to make it a better or nicer place.
Like, as terrible a game as Twilight Princess is, one of the better parts is permanently removing the dark-world influence from each region. It feels like real progress and then you can casually and freely explore those regions with a sense of accomplishment - like the only reason the place isn't a shithole is cause you played the game and fixed it up. This bloodmoon shit is just "lel we put the enemies back and everything is shitty again" just like Fedora's Mask.
>>In a series with no combat/class variety, learning curve or difficulty
Sure, HZD is for infants but we're discussing BOTW.
wtf i like bloodborne now
>moon in mm
>moon in botw
confirmed no originality
This wouldn't surprise me actually, just because Aonuma has almost as much of a boner for him as Kojima did for Big Boss.
#REKT
Seriously though, most things in life are repetitive, enjoy them or don't but don't pretend like repetition is always bad.
user specifically said "Zelda bosses"
Other games and their respective boss fights are fun.
Oda is the man with the bat tattoo
such as?
>He hasn't even played the game.
>Most people agree Zelda has good boss fights.
>Posts shit anyways.
Good job user.
Nobody here is saying HZD is even remotely good.
Take your own advice and stick to the subject.
oh boy just like oblivion :v
I took this to mean that enemies couldn't die on a blood moon. They get knocked down, but they get up again, Link's never gonna keep 'em down.
Not that it just resurrects all previously killed boss enemies.
>link looks like ezio
dropped
That feeling in Twilight Princess ultimately doesn't feel very good though since it's just a catharsis of finally discarding the game's awful linearity and getting on with the less awful parts of the game, because boy those bug hunts are bad. Once you purge an area you can run around and do precisely nothing other than collect heart pieces and maybe some more rupees (You already have enough rupees, let's just put that back). Oh and I guess sometimes there's a minigame.
>b-buh sony
Yeah be sure to shit on a game you haven't played, that'll show those other people who shit on a game they haven't played.
You seriously need examples of games with good bosses?
Get this guys.
The new Zelda is also 3D like Super Man 64 was.
it better be this.
is it actually this or is it
>muh enemies comin' back n shiet
WW did that.
it pulled that capcom bullshit at the end. not fun.
I assume enemies will come back to life every time you fast travel or enter a loading screen. Otherwise you'll clear all the moblin camps and there won't be any left to kill.
Games I enjoy.
Doesn't really matter anyway, does it, it isn't really the fights themselves, but the combat that makes fighting them fun. BotW and 3D LoZ's combat isn't fun, to me, anyway.
For the sake of it though...
>Demon's Souls
>Devil May Cry 3
>Dragon's Dogma
There, just a few games with better combat and boss fights than the entire LoZ franchise.
Is that the only reason you like the franchise? Because other people like it? Fuck off.
> moves choreographed 15s before they're used
>choreographed
tingle will be in this. I just know it.
you mean Breath of the Wild = Simon's Quest
do people honestly think zeldas have good combat?
and we have a moon. Nintendo confirmed for plagiarizing outer space.
You get to pilot and fly your own airship. Complete with customizing some of the stuff like the sails.
There are both multiple endings and stacking ones. Stacking ones affect stuff in the game world and let you continue playing after getting them. For example: You can rescue Zelda after getting the ending where you unlock the airship, and she stays there. You can then take her to the final dungeon and beat Ganon for a different final ending
Ganon's human form is separate from the calamity form. The game implies that Demise is the "evil" while Ganondorf is a man who gets corrupted by it, but isn't necessarily a bad guy
There is romance between Link and Zelda, and while he has lost his memory, the Great Tree tells that he was a "very special person" to the princess before the calamity struck. One of the mementos you unlock also talks about the hero "becoming part of the royal family"
There are bonus classic outfits that you unlock both through doing several shrines and by getting some of the endings. You can also unlock outfits for Zelda, including a Tetra one.
The timeline where the game takes place is incredible weird, and while it appears to take place in the OOT timeline after WW at first, one of the "bad" endings sees the goddesses flooding the entire land.
Shoe me any sort of proof that you have the game or fuck off.
Once again we have a BotW thread where OP shares something awesome and goes "lol look how shot this is for being in it."
I get more confused about the anti-botw campaign every thread.
They must, why else would they be playing it?
Seriously. As detatched as I am, I still do feel that "pull" of nostalgia, but at this point most of it has turned to disdain for the hackjobs in charge.
I haven't once in 20 years thought that I would want Nintendo EAD developing any other game. I don't even want them developing LoZ any more, and now the entire company has turned to shit and all of the key people at their second-party developers have jumped ship.
I genuinely blame Iwata for ushering in this age of stagnation. What a fraud. Shit makes me mad, I loved this company and their IPs.
>takes place after OoT
HAHAHAHA CONFIRMED FOR GANONDORF ACTUALLY BEING A "GOOD" GUY IN RELATION TO ZELDA CANON
i hope your spoiler is true and not just (you) being a nigger.
Some more tidbits from my buddy:
You can upgrade weapons, and you can use a rare ore to make them unbreakable, but that's only an endgame unlock
The Master Sword plays a huge role in the plot and getting her too early can piss off Zelda and net you a bad ending. She can't be broken when "Ascended'
>but that's only an endgame unlock
Oh for fuck's sake.
>she
hop u rike it
This better not be bait
Fi seemed to be a girl
Oh is the Master Sword always the same one? I don't keep up with the lore.
I was always sort of under the impression that The Master Sword was more of a metaphor, since the Triforce is in Link, and not the actual sword.
Always the same master sword but sometimes it needs re-tempering or reforging.
>Some more tidbits from my buddy
Yeah and my dad works at Valve, stop talking shit or he'll get your Commodore 64 bricked.
this gif is too real. should have just used the crying wojak and a normal inquisitive pepe.
distasteful.
To be fair that town was pretty fun. Not on the level of MM, but I did enjoy the NPCs there.
Shame about everything else.
>anyone with hooded cloak is ezio
okay
Market was cool and the NPCs weren't bad. Too bad it was all concentrated in one place so there was nothing to discover in the rest of the game's overworld except one goron, two moles and 3 colourswapped dragons.
I love this shit, it perfectly captures Majora's Mask's unsettling evil.
