All this talk and shitposting about botw and I'm sitting here waiting for a 3D remake of the Oracle games that will literally never happen

Or an Oracle of Secrets sequel, which is just as unlikely

>goron dancing

It would be fun.

>he'd rather a remake than something new
You're what is wrong with the market. This is why nintendo made 4 (FOUR) zelda remakes because you gobble that shit up.

>4 (FOUR) zelda remakes
>all 3D Zeldas
>meanwhile no 2D Zelda remakes

I guess you don't need to remake them if you get them right the first time.

I would love this if only because of the soundtrack getting a remake.

Seasons>Ages

fite me nerds.

I played these games maybe eleven times each, I have never been more immersed into a video game world. Anybody who says LA is better is a fucking faggot. Yeah that means you, faggot.

Ages is more somber a tone, and it can be more moving in its atmosphere, but Seasons is more consistent and cheery in a way that brings me back more often.

I FUCKING WISH

there was a planned third oracle game, but it is kill

I played Ages several years after playing Seasons which I never beat, got stuck in the Onox fight and dunno, it was great too.

>I guess you don't need to remake them if you get them right the first time.
Then explain why did Super Mario 64 and Kirby Super Star, two games that were already fine to play in their original games, still got remakes, despite you claiming "remakes are only needed if the original game is unplayable".

That's because Farore a shit.

Sounds about right since Ages had a lot more tedious parts.
>Crescent Island
>Rolling Ridge
>Goron Mountain

Ages is still a great game too, very close to Seasons.

alll these Oracle/Links awakening threads make me realize noone likes the GBA game

NOW we fite you knife eared makufucker!

Minish Cap was cool but not as cool as Oracle

You best check yourself before you wreck yourself. She's such a shitty character that even with such an astonishing amount of sales for both games (for a Gameboy at least) she couldn't even get one of her own.

Minish Cap really needed more dungeons, it felt too short. Overworld was also too small compared to pretty much every other 2D Zelda.

What would have been the gimmick in Oracle of Secrets? In Seasons you can change, well, seasons, and in Ages you can travel in time. Telling secrets to people to unlock stuff doesn't sound as fun.

Supposedly it was going to be based around colors.

Actually it was originally Nayru's game that had color puzzles and Farore's game had time travel.
And Seasons started as a LoZ remake which is pretty easy to see.

That explains those color blocks and panels in Ages then.

I disagree, but I respect their opinion. It was too short, because it only had five dungeons.

Is there a reason they scrapped it other than "fuck it we already got two games, no need to spend more cash and man hours on a third one"?

Coding was the issue. Trying to have three games connected between all the orders you could play them in and the quests you can do in them made it a nightmare, so they settled with two instead.

TRIGGERED

What a pleb.
True patricians know that
Seasons=Ages.
They are both perfect.

The Oracle games are probably the two (three) games I'm most curious about how they looked before release.

Would have been cool if instead of having to cycle through all four seasons to land on the one you wanted, using the rod once would bring up a small menu where you select the season
