The controllers it comes with are cheaply manifactured. They don't even work and desync as soon as you get your hand anywhere near the sensor.
The system is literally dead on arrival.

We're talking about Switch. And so far just about EVERY hardware review is saying the joycons have connectivity issues with IGN even having a left joycon desync while playing in undocked mode with the Switch literally two feet from the joycon.

They could sell this for the break even price of $99 and still not sell half of what the ps4 sold.

No, it won't. The PS4's success is an outlier running against general industry trends.

Barring a sea change, it won't hit PS4 numbers. It's much more likely that it'll carve out a comfortable, profitable niche and keep Nintendo afloat along with its mobile offerings.
