Resident Evil is at a point now where they can actually please all fans.

However, they dropped the ball with Umbrella Corps, that should have been a standalone Mercenaries game, full RE playable cast in the style of RE6/Revlations 2 Raid Mode, tons of levels from all the series.

The ONLY way i can see it happening is if Ada dies trying to protect Leon or whatever, because his relationship with her really has "it's gonna end in tragedy before they really get together" written all over it, and they wouldn't kill off Leon. Thing is, even then it's pretty unlikely, and i doubt Ada would ever die if you consider how many fake deaths she already has to her name, and how there are people in Capcom who are huge Adafags.

Depends on how well the RE2 remake sells. If it hits Capcom's mark I think the series will probably go back and forth between Classic Evil and RE7 FPS.

What makes me think that Leon's endgame won't be Claire is the fact that it has been TWENTY YEARS, and even with Capcom knowing that they could potentially have a relationship and it would make sense, they never pulled the trigger in anything that could be interpreted as something more than "Claire likes him but it's one-sided". I mean, i guess the elevator scene on Degeneration and "need a lift? ;)))" are the closest Leon came to flirting with her.
