When can I get them? Are they that good to the point where I can beat Proud with them? Because I hate grinding and would rather not play on Proud if I have to grind. KH2 felt much more skill-based compared to this game.

BBS was not balanced well.
Her cartwheels aren't infinity i-frames until you level them to the max. Neither is Ven's dodgeroll. Also, playing as early Aqua sucks because she does not physical damage, dies in two hits, and the magic commands at the beginning are ass. At least in critical mode. I've never played BBS in proud and below.
She doesn't do shit for damage early game, unless you grind Command Board as soon as the first world and get yourself a Raging Storm or something, did that once, that command is broken as fuck
Terra's damage output in Critical Impact is pretty high, if you're using it often and still getting rekt then i don't have much advice other than git gud, keep an eye on enemy patterns and shit
Also while you don't have Cure, you can enter D-Link and get a free heal
How? Terra is easy as fuck to play with, since all you have to do is go into one of his command styles, and mash x. Seriously, his commands are all shit, but his damage output in a command style is unrivaled. The only times this strategy doesn't work are some bosses and his final boss.

BBS should just be called Square mashing simulator, since that's all you need to do. Oh, yeah, you press triangle every now and then to heal and insta kill everything. Such deep gameplay mechanics!
I don't even know how DDD and BBS got through QA and i wuoldn't even say Osaka finally learned, no they didn't even try before, the concept of stagger and revenge value is retard proof yet they never even tried it
KH2 Proud is a joke.. Surges give crazy i-frames, get leaf bracer & second chance, shotlocks are op, add some crowd control, should be easy then
After beating the game with terra i couldn't draw my self to even bother playing with the other two idiots. Fuck this trash, i remember dying over 60 times in the colosseum. The final boss was not even fun or a fair decent challenge. DDD is alot better but is still flawed as fuck.

I tried playing 0.2 on Critical last night, I can't even fight a single enemy without dying.
Don't spam attack, use magic+attack to fill up situation commands and use block often, it's OP as fuck since it's 360.
And for the Aqua fights just learn the patterns, block, jump out of the block and attack

very bad, I played the first time on normal difficulty but I was getting hit a lot, but I never died, then I played DDD HD, then watched Under Cover, then I decided to retry 0.2 on Critical mode, but I can't beat the first boss.

You realize there's such thing as blocking and dodging right? Don't fall for "just press x" memes, not even ffxiii plays like that.
I know, I'm just bad at getting the "right" timing to block, I have the same problem in almost any games.
look into speedrun strats with aqua, even if you're not speedrunning, stuff like magnet and her second "ultimate" ability makes things much easier.
Radiant Garden is when you can grind for Surges and the Mines.
After that you never need to grind again.
Start playing every game you come across on the hardest difficulty, in the first playthrough. It's just like in your chinese cartoons, after doing that for awhile your body will feel extremely light.
