I'm sure most of us are sick and tired of the constant back and forth between warring console shills and PC players bickering back and forth.
Let's all take a moment and remember why exactly we're here: vidya games and the joy they brought us as gamers.
I'm not saying you have to stop criticizing other games and threads; let's just give those (and yourselves) a break from the constant fighting and remember some shit we can all agree on.
>Fallout: New Vegas
>Super Mario RPG (I still remember the feeling I got when I first booted this bad boy up)
>Zelda: Lttp/OoT
>Ratchet & Clank
>Killzone
These are all games that we have to admit, whether we like it or not, brought joy to millions of people and were decent at worse.
What else can you think of?
Sorry I didn't mention Xbox, I never owned one. Maybe someone can help me out.
Why should there be universal praise for something, there are a lot of people in this world, and they all have different opinions. And why do you care? Does it effect your own appreciation of it?
Owen Brooks
Plenty of people say it's overrated, but most of them will still admit that it's good.
Dylan Russell
Didn't realize killzone was popular/liked.

Really? Most early Playstation adopters love it, as far as I can tell.
Perfect example. Looking back, I do prefer ff6 and I see the flaws but you can't deny; FF7 is the definition of nostalgia and ground breaking for many RPG fans
Only a suggestion to slow down the bickering muh friend

Ace Combat Series

The best way to do that here is to have specific and focused discussions on topics and games. Super open ended stuff like this, with everyone fighting over which game is most loved, just plays into the hatred of this board

I wouldn't list Ratchet and Clank and Killzone. Maybe I don't visit Sony threads often enough.
Never heard of this Ghost Trick game, what's the story?

Megaman X and Donkey Kong Country was MUH SHIT back in the day senpai.
I regret never getting into the metroidvania games...

The SNES was rife with great platformers, from Dreamland 3, to Super Mario World, to DKC, to Megaman X, and all the other mascot platformers.
Never say never. You can get an emulator to run Super Metroid on any PC made post 2000. It's by far the best entry into the genre, even if you don't like Nintendo or Metroid games in general. Not to mention it's been re-released on pretty much every Nintendo system since the DS, via the e-shop, if you don't feel like piracy.

All of these. At least, I love them.

Not a single one of them. Especially not League of Legends, when there are like 30 better games in the same genre.

Go on. Humor me.

The characters, the story and of course the music make it an amazing experience.
It was released on Nintendo DS, but they later made it available on itunes (no google market version unfortunately). If you have an apple device, I recommend it you go for a complete walkthrough.
