What are some games where the church are actually the good guys?
What are some games where the church are actually the good guys?
Dragon Quest
This. Churches will always equal save points to me.

Bloodborne

My nigga, came to say this. Our lord was crucified on a trident, so our heroes could be brought to life again
>Trident
Only in censored western versions.
smt
Nigga what?
...
I know, but it has some naive charm to it
How is the Healing Church in Bloodborne good? I mean I'm not saying they're evil, or even misguided. Everything in Bloodborne is a nihlistic mess (which is a good thing). The Healing Church succumbed to madness because of their practices. Whether that's what they wanted or not is left to the player's interpretation.
Usually the fedora route (neutral) gives you the better ending.
Church a best
gtfo vileblood
>Alfred has to go after an NPC that doesn't even fight back because he's too much of a pussy to take on the Bloody Crow.
>And then she can be revived anyways after Alfred commits sudoku.
Executioners are losers.
>nihlistic mess
What did he mean by this?
Act Raiser.
But that's mainly because you take on the role of sword wielding YHWH for a change.
There was also Legend of Zelda 2, with imagery such as this.
Final Fantasy 1 (Japanese Version) used to have churches as the place to resurrect fallen party members.
What are some games where the mosques are actually the good guys inshallah?
>mosques are actually the good guys
Civilization if you are the one controlling the religion? I really can't remember any instance of Islam being shown on a positive light in the past 30 years.
Fallout 1 ;))
>Charges for resurrection of party members.
Age of Empires II had a positive portrayal of Saladin as a noble opponent, enlightened scholar and generous man if I recall correctly.
I just beat this yesterday
why the fuck hasn't someone made a spirtual sequel to this?
Because Actraiser is two games at once. Most game developers are not willing to dish out something like this. An Actraiser game would need to compete with Civilization and whatever platformer was out.
are we just ignoring actraiser 2, or did you mean just a modern iteration?
Most likely a modern iteration. And since Enix is gone, there never will be.
You literally have to kill Satan in this one.
But both are not so well done. And strategic section has absolutely no connection with sidescroller.
>church
>ever being good
I don't think you understand
Also Soul Blazer.
there's an emotional connection
lol
I am assuming OP is trying to avoid fedora/edgy plots.
harvest moon
zelda
>Neutral
>Not giving the worst ending
When on that path the MC literally sets out to hit the reset button on everything so that Demons are gone and no one man has overwhelming power over another. There's no fanfare and the heroes all get really dull or disappointing fates. It's not even close to what i'd call better than the others where you at least go down as some sort of messiah.
I suddenly remember. Warcraft 1 used to have christian religious undertones until "God" was retconned into "The Light" in later games. Clerics were healing units you built at a church.
>underaged faggot doesn't even know about the Imperial Scolls of Honor
Now thats a good game.
Atm I'm not sure if ouroboros is evil.
But I haven't played the 3rd, nor ao/zero.
