What are the worst sequel series/spinoffs of all time in gaming?

what the actual fuck is wrong with you

Pic not related, right?

MMZ is a disgrace to MMX and even Classic

You couldn't beat Aztec Falcon, huh?

The MMZ's biggest flaw is the poor first title in the series.

How many Cyber Elves did you end up using?

I never understood how the ranking system worked as a kid, so I ended up using them pretty blindly.

I HATE IT

>Nearly beat 2
>Then they decide to dick you in the final level by turning one of the rematches into a fight with both him and the beetle from 1

Supposedly the final boss is really easy too

>disgrace to MMX

X has the worst good game to shit game ratio out of any Mega Man series.

This is not how you EVER do fighting mecha games. This is how you ruin a perfectly good series. Also it's the third game in the series despite the logo. The fourth is just a console port + story mode.

>1: Great
>2: Meh
>3: Bad
>4: Bad
>5: Either Bad/Good depending on how you like the concept of time limits
>6: Irredeemable shit
>We don't talk about 7.
>8: Good

It's quite inconsistent.

I think everyone can agree that when a series decides its next game is gonna be a MOBA it's time to drop the series altogether.

I unironically think Re;Chain of Memories for the PS2 is probably the best Kingdom Hearts game.

>Mega Man ZX is now over 10 years old
>there will never be a new Mega Man ZX game
>no Star Force either

Mega Man didn't have to die like this. Why did this happen?

It's not literally, I was exaggerating. Force is really fucking slow and has forced 2v2 gameplay. It doesn't actually have moba mechanics but it feels like one to play with how sluggish everything is.

That said, there is a game series that did this completely literally. It's bad even by moba standards. The original was a tower defense. I'm still mad at them for fucking caving into freemium shit.

>this isn't even a bad thing

2's would be repeating the level system, it would have been god tier without it. And that fucking intermission level with the floating bug ships, that was all pure ass.
>beat them both
>they fucking crash into you from both sides in a final attack
That got me good the first time.

CoM is actually one of the better KH games, better than BBS, DDD and Days since you can at least stun and combo bosses in CoM.
>he can't into card mindgames

That's actually one of the ones I was thinking of. The other being Dead Island. I could see why with OMD even if it still didn't seem like a good idea, but I just don't get why you'd think MOBA + a game that was FPS originally was a good idea.

>Dead Island

I remember hearing about that, that was the weirdest series to go moba. Only weirder thing someone could've done was turning F-Zero into a moba or some shit.

>shitting on the best game.

Should have just posted this.

Well it crashed and burned apparently, or so a quick search about it says. I had a key in my inventory for the longest time someone randomly gave me, only to later find out I was basically tricked and everyone had one and was trying to get rid of them.

Well, good riddance. The less of those soulless games we get the better.

Pic unrelated.

I'm going to burn down the house of person responsible and force them to watch me do terrible things to their daughter.

MMZ is good tho

Opinion discarded.

You are like a little child

How about this

Not him but any sort of mobile version is not even worthy of discussion of a bad spin off. They are just simply there. It's like trying to discuss really bad games and just settling on Bad Rats or Big Rigs.

Well, can't disagree with that
