Since 2011. I have seen a very steep drop in quality. People who have been here longer than i have, say the same thing. I only imagine how it was around that time. When i used to browse this place had a fuzzy dark tint feeling to it. Now everythings bright and shill filled. But I'm just a newfag to people 2010 and below. So what do i know.

I remember Sup Forums being really happy at one point. Now we cant enjoy shit and threads die unless its just a hate circle jerk.

I don't remember when I came here, but I'm glad to see EFG again. Haven't seen him in a long, long time, and nobody really knows him anymore it seems. I've been around somewhat pre-EFG - can you tell me when that was? Approximately? I just don't remember.

I come back for the comic threads (now called LOL) and 1 in 15 threads is somewhat interesting. Also to find leaked stuff. It's also still viable to ask Sup Forums of its opinion. Usually just 3-4 good answers, but I've developed a bullshit filter here.

To be honest, I've been on Sup Forums since 2008/9 or so, but I don't remember how it was at all. I remember Sup Forums being absolutely godawful in 2010-2011 because of the complete lack of meaningful moderation just meaning that maybe 1-2 threads on the front page were actually about video games. /vg/ also hadn't been created yet, so a few games had generals that annihilated the board (LoL). From 2012 onward the board was getting better and better due to creation of other boards and increased moderation keeping shit on-topic. The quality of Sup Forums vastly declined when both gamergate and Sup Forums happened. Both of those things basically created a massive culture of false-flagging that has essentially turned Sup Forums into a place where real discussion is few and far-between compared to the sheer amount of knowingly retarded shitposting.

I have been here for 7 years or so, found it kind of late for my age but what can you do. Sup Forums isn't my first board, I started at Sup Forums like most newfags and then went to Sup Forums while I occasionally browsed /fit/ Sup Forums and /x/. I came here randomly after reading the shitposting at Sup Forums. I didn't like this board at first but it grew on me eventually.

Too many nintodlers and console faggots, I'm a PC dude but I own consoles as well. I just see the consoles as the inferior, overpriced, and under performing pieces of shit that they are rather than accepting them as anything more than satisfactory. It makes me hard to mesh with this board but I do still enjoy some console games like Bloodborne.
