Why didn't we get Karl instead of Peter to voice Wheatley?

Too tired to make a Dead Rising > Dead Rising 4 joke

>insert any original mod on left
>insert Valve remake on right

Especially TF2 and Dota, literally balanced by reddit.

>reddit-fied
>they literally removed all references to cake to downplay the redditness of the first game

u wot m8

>TF2 is reddit

I hate neo-Sup Forums.

What part of P2 was watered down?
The first portal felt like a tech demo by comparison.

release TF2 isn't reddit, updated TF2 is reddit embodied

Portal was shit

and added EXPLODING LEMON XDDD instead

easiest answer of my life

Reddit casuals like Bethesda better. Stop baiting so hard.

This, but OP has to be a contrarian

Guaranteed replies.jpg

Someone needs to make one for Das2 on the left and Bloodborne on the right to trigger some autists

*Nobody* likes Bethesda better.

Bloodborne is pretty Reddit pandering desu. Sick dark.

Humor aside, Portal 2 was super dumbed down from the first game.
In 1 most rooms were clean and open for you to explore and solve alone.
In 2 most rooms have extremely limited areas to even place portals, the spots where you can use them are highlighted by this hinting at solutions. This gets worse and worse as the game goes on where you can only try so many different placements before solving the puzzles.

That's some premium bait you got there

See: Old TF2 was the shit, but in typical Valve fashion they ruined it. Dota's even worse because they literally just lift balance changes from any reddit post with at least 300 upvotes and turn memes into actual balance patches. There's a really, really good reason I stopped playing that shit and told Valve to fuck off forever.

OG.

>Not demons
One job

naah ds1 to ds3 is more better imo

But portal 2 was good though

Not really the single player, but the co-op campaign was fun

Single player was fine. Too many problems only had 1 solution and it was hard to do things the "wrong" way, which made it less fun for me but it was still okay/good.

that's wrong tho, HOI4 makes it now fun to play as any country because of easier access to decision trees

>dumbed down
>has more mechanics for puzzles

U wot

Tone. The original Portal is subtly funny and has good atmosphere. The second one is like Zombie Simpsons

Even the puzzles in Portal 2 (especially towards the end) are over the top, Rube Goldbergesque designs, compared to the relatively free-form environmental puzzles at the end of Portal.

Fair Point.
I liked Portal 2, but I also noticed that the solutions seemed quite obvious.
I think it got better as the game went on and introduced new stuff like the gel, though.

...

It was watered down in the sense that there were classic VALVe story setpieces around every corner.

The actual puzzle mechanics were way better though.

Portal:
>most of the game is spent in elevators between test chambers waiting to play the game
>literally just portals, cubes, and turrets
>total time: ~2 hours

Portal 2:
>Actually play the game, explore the facility
>new mechanics introduced in the form of lasers, light bridges, and gels
>Total time: ~4 hours

Eat shit OP.

...

HOI3 went too obtuse. I love the fucking game but I had to make a shitload of 1936 start saves with OOB properly setup and spreadsheets detailing starting armies for each large country, to upgrade their trash starting shit into ideal division composition.

HOI4 actually feels fun to play, I don't need to break out excel to beat Russia.

...

from africa simulator it become an AC spinoff

...

...

Kek at all these obsidian babies. Fallout 3 was better, get over it

...

Titanfall 2 is more popular on reddit though

...

Evolution felt kinda watered-down itself

I miss 1.6

Literally how.

It added new features.
And Coop mode which also adds a ton of new mechanics.

Bait the post.

Here's your (you) m8!

>explore the facility
More like "explore a magical disney pixar land that goes completely against the dark claustrophobic vibe from Portal 1"

>post truth

FFXV is shit

Both of you seem to forget Portal was just a tiny game they made for the Orange Box with a concept they bought from some indie devs.
Portal is brilliant in many aspects but 16 out of 19 chambers are basic tutorials you instantly complete, 17 and 18 take a minute or two, and more than half the game is in chamber 19 after you escape the fire. The entire game is 2h long.

Portal 2 on the other hand had an actual scenario, way bigger budget and characters. It was a full fledged game that added many new mechanics, was 6-9h long depending on how tired you were and added a flawless multiplayer.

And there's nothing Reddit about any of those games.

sigh

imagine if nerfnow was always this good

>reddit-fied knockoff
>reddit wasn't even big around the time Portal 2 came out
lol?

>f-stop never ever
