Anyone else planning on waiting before buying the Switch? As of now it has too many problems to warrant an immediate purchase.

>Latency issues
>Lack of Bluetooth
>No Ethernet port
> Base Joy Con grip lacking USB port to properly charge

On the contrary I bought a PS4 in January for $270 and now I wish I waited for the Switch. Looks like it and Zelda will be great.

Those are incredibly minor issues.

>buying any new system on launch

Not even once.

Minor or not they still exist and kinda pisses me off. The Switch is dirt cheap sure, but the only killer app I want is Zelda and I already own a Wii U for it.

Can the day one patch fix these issues? Especially the controller latency? People are telling me it's a hardware problem but didn't Xbone One have controller sync problems that were later fixed?

I'm probably waiting about a couple of month, probably buying it when it get bundled with zelda or something

My PS4 has quite a lot of issues and it's 4 years later

I'll probably buy it in 2018

The sensor in the controller or console is probably not set to run at 100%. This is obviously just a guess since it's impossible for me to know this.
If it is this case, yes, they can fix it with a simple update.

I cancelled my preorder after realizing I can just get Zelda on Wii U and play some PS4 games until Odyssey comes out.

I learned my lesson after getting a PS4 at launch and it having no games besides Bloodborne until 2017.

I actually cancelled my order on Amazon, I'm going to wait for more games to come out first. The only game that interests me so far is XC2 anyway.

I never understood the appeal of buying any console within the first year. There's never any good deals, games releases are still many months/years away, and you often get launch window problems with early models (360 RROD, 3DS scratching itself when you close it, Vita battery drain glitch, etc).

It's just better to wait a few more years when they come out with price drops, discounted bundles, revised slimmer or better models, and more games. Buying a Wii U or PS3 at launch is one of the dumbest things a consumer can do, but years later after the games come out and they are so easy to hack then it's worth buying.

Everyone is waiting. Those who preordered are in the minority

>Lack of Bluetooth

Is there a source on this?

I only see that it doesn't support Bluetooth headsets.

It obviously doesn't lack it since the controllers use it.

Ill wait for the 250 price cut with the improved New Switch.

They might even ditch the portable shit and make it a normal console with pro controller bundled

I'll buy it for 250+game included.
$300 with no game is a fucking joke for what the system actually offers.

I'm going to wait until I get my tax refund and then wait for a bundle to pick up.

Come on user, just save up your weekly allowence for two months and you too could afford a Switch. It's ok, I wont tell your mom.

Didn't they say that there won't be any Switch bundles? Or was that only meant for launch?

Money isn't the issue. The value is.

I'm just now considering getting a ps4. I don't think i'll ever get switch. The last 4 hardware generations have taught me I can get by without Nintendo IPs in my life. If they'd had a launch lineup I'd at least consider it but they have nothing but one game and a history of disappointment with their last console.

poor people don't understand this

There are currently 3 games I want on it, and the other two will be late 2017
No reason to buy it right now.

I wouldve waited for Odyssey but Id rather not have Zelda on Wii U down the road If I ever wanted to pick the game back up for whatever reason, so Ill just bite the bullet now to have everything on one system.

Fucking ridiculous that theyre still pulling the no ethernet port thing when even the vita TV could manage it, the other points dont bother me much.

>"stupid goyim, you have to get the most out of each shekel"

Why do you mock your own kind, shill?

I'm getting it when it has at least 3-4 good exclsuives, so in around 5 years just like the WiiU

You think the neon switch will still be available in the fall?

It's not really a hard thing to understand. I've made my mistake of buying a console too soon and for too much.

What the fuck does that even mean?

He's calling you a jew for not selling everything under your name and giving all the money to Reggie in person.

There are people that don't do this?

There are plenty of good games releasing this spring for other platforms. No need to get a Switch, even if I really want to play BotW. I'll wait until I'm done playing new games I'm interested in, which should be sometime around July. By then the rush to find a Switch should have died down, and I'll be more comfortable buying a Switch after seeing whatever they announce at E3

I'm agreeing with you. I'm saying he's a poorfag who doesn't understand what value is.

HAH! I bought a 3DS at launch for $250. Got to play Nintendogs in 3D!

I'll buy it when the new version comes out (like the n3ds) and fixes many issues, I have a lot of games to keep me busy the next few months.
