What is the worst genre of online competitive play and why is it trading card games?
your favorite one
There's no chat.
are there any TRADING card game for the pc?
your mom
Hex
MOBAs are far worse than trading card games.
if it's called a trading card game, why can't i trade them?
ah ha, check mate you smelly nilly
Where you can actually trade? Pokemon TCGO.
>you winned cuz i didnt have xxx p2w card reeeeeee
TCG are the best genre because they allow my autism to go into overdrive just coming with strategies and combos and all that jazz.
>Hearthstone
>strategy
wew lad
I didn't know I could trade cards in hex, just sell them
thank god, i don't want to hear some faggot bitching on chat that he's losing since i got a lucky draw
Because the majority of players are just netdecking the deck with the highest winrate/cost ratio making the game shallow to play since you play against the same shit all the time
It's the only way to win in this bullshit ass game
>the majority of players are just netdecking the deck with the highest winrate/cost ratio making the game shallow to play since you play against the same shit all the time
Why figure things out yourself when true autists can optimize it for you?
Playing card games competitively is stupid.
Tell that to Poker players.
ur mum is stupid.
t. shieldbearer
>trading card games
Your spelling is atrocious. It's not like ASSFAGGOTS is hard to spell.
>worst
>ever not being mobas
I'm not saying there is ZERO skill involved. But the fact that a more skilled player can still lose to a less skilled player simply out of luck doesn't make it worth it for me. I don't mind at all when I lose in a fighting game because I know that it was my fault. When you play a card game and you lose and the only thing you can think of is "I couldn't have won that game no matter what i did" or "I did every right choice but my opponent happened to be extremely lucky with draws" it just makes me feel like shit and not wanting to play anymore. Not seriously, at least.
I kinda feel the same way, even though I enjoy playing card games. There's a certain amount of skill involved in card games, there's no denying that, but when you compare it to something like fighting games it's nowhere near the same level, especially considering things like draw RNG.
That's how I feel about faggots in shadowverse who drop bahamuts
Hearthstone and Shadowverse are too simple to ever be good card games
Is there a good onlilne MTG gamee?
I like watching competitive HS mostly because of how stupid it is and how the RNG either fucks over or wins the game for them.
>Player need ___ to win
>Player draw ____ and wins
>*Thats it folks, user is taking the lead by outsmarting/outplaying his opponent*
>*suck a crazy game cant believe it!*
Moderators for it are sometimes funny too
HS is pure fucking rng, its a bad example.
Even Kripparian is tired of it.
Hex if you're rich or can stomach the initial F2P grind
Eternal if you have the patience to sit through the longest most aggresively boring "tutorial" known to humankind
MTGO is ugly and still expensive
I've heard Duels isn't great either
Eternal isn't exactly MTG but it's close and very f2p friendly
shadowverse is actually good though op. Hearthstone, gwent, duelist are all garbage. Also magic the gathering is good.
>HS is pure fucking rng, its a bad example.
Thats what I Mean user, it is fun to watch because of how much RNG the game is based and how it either fucks over or wins the game for the player. Otherwise it is pretty boring because EVERY SINGLE PERSON, in the god damn tournament that is going on atm ( bahamas one ) everybody is playing the same deck, so its kinda boring to watch a single deck being player for each class.
...
otohime sucks, what is your point
i'd suck those toes tho
both get 1 thing right magic had wrong. lands are ghey. hex shards of fate gets that wrong to. shards are ghey
its like the definition of artificial difficulty. draw the cards you need to not get beat down but wait theres more also draw all the lands you need just to play those cards when you need to play them
My dream is to have an orgy with Otohime and her guards.
>shadowverse is actually good though op.
It was until the bahamut expansion fucked it in the ass.
There is nothing in bahamut that breaks the game, tempo runecraft is a little OP right now but it is easily fix.
You mean collectable card games.
control blood beats runecraft daria
MTGO
It is still OP though.
I'm the original guy I actually do like watching Kripparian's videos and I've been watching most of them for the past month or 2. It's pretty hylarious to see him complain about all the bullshit stuff.
But yeah, while other games may be better than Hearthstone, card games are still inherently flawed competitively no matter how you twist it. Again, I'm not saying there is NO skill involved, you can definitely be a better card games player than another guy. It's just that skill is simply not the only factor and no matter what you do, some luck/RNG will always be present. And sometimes you lose because of it and it feels like shit. Imagine preparing yourself for the biggest most competitive tournament and you spent a lot of time training and theorycrafting and then you just happen to have some completely crap luck and you lose. I would want to kill myself right after.
Daria and Roach are both getting nerfed tomorrow.
The skill is not in play, but in actually building decks.
That's why people play formats that have matches so it's not just 1 game.
Mabinogi Duel has zero card draw
You're entire 12-card deck is your starting hand and you can spend resources to get cards back from your graveyard
That does increase the importance of skill over luck, but luck really doesn't matter only over a lot of games. 3 or 4 games is still way too low of a number for luck to truly not matter. If one of the players is much more skilled than the other then he should easily win anyway, but when both players are good and know what they're doing, even a few slight advantages because of RNG can really turn the tides. Unless you're playing 100 games, luck is still a factor.
>Bahamut is supposed to be a giant fish
>D&D and Final Fantasy have everybody thinking it's a dragon now
Surprised not more media has Shiva has a chick now.
And Leviathan is suppose to be an chinchilla with dwarfism
CCGs are pretty bad. I'd have to put serious thought into them being the worst, but they might be.
Shadowverse is the only passable one
You don't trade in Shadowverse though.
you should read his post again, dumb weeb. and pay attention to the CAPITALIZED word
Shadowverse is not a trading card game
Ironically this could be understood otherwise as well. But it's not that far from truth you don't trade in battles either anymore. Face is the place.
as expected of a weeb who can't read
