7.1 and gaming headsets are a meme, but if you're dead set on it the only good headset are the hyper x cloud 2s.

I really liked my Logitech G430s but I am by no means knowledgeable with headphones/sound tech

Get a Steelseries Arctis 3

or

HyperX Cloud IIs

I use a G430 and have no complaints, other than it being a little bulky.

Had those headphones and they were the worst ones I ever had.
The logitech ones need custom software to work, they are very heavy on your head and start to hurt if you wear them for a long time and their sound is shit.
Just invest in a pair on Sennheisers, I got a pair and they are very comfy and the sound is nice and clear.

>Allergic to everything on the planet but still desire companionship
>Settled on house rabbits
>Despite rabbit-proofing my house to the nth degree I look away for a second and the little nigger eats my headset cord

Alright, what's the over-under on wireless headsets. Are they actual pieces of shit, or that just an audiophile meme?

If they really are that bad, can someone recommend a good set of headphones that won't bust my balls to purchase in case they get eaten again AND sound at least decently good AND don't make my voice all static-y so that my friends don't throw a bitch fit?

>Used to have Turtle Bitch PX22 because I got them on sale
>Whiny friends shit their pants and start yelling at me if a pin drops on the complete opposite side of my house

pick one off this list, get a modmic and the sabren usb amp to remove the static noise and you're set

This list is so absurdly outdated it's not even funny.

The AD-700s for example were discontinued years ago.

But I want to be able to truly experience positional audio.

Here you go OP

You can do that with any decent set of headphones. Having a bunch of low quality drivers cramped next to each other isn't going to produce better sound than a well designed one in a normal headphone.

>7.1 headphones
lmao

Loving these even more now that I find out I can remove the earpads to wash them.

>Spending above $20 for headphones of that quality.
Wait, people do this?

Ive got the Razer Kraken 7.1s and they're just alright. Only bought em because I the braided cables can survive my cat's onslaught on em. They're just okay.

DO NOT BUY THAT BLUE LOGITECH 7.1 HEAD SET!!! The max volume on that fucking thing is absolute shit. I bought them thinking they'd be a decent wired successor to the g930 which was legit

I second the Cloud II, bought me a pair and they are great for the price. I was impressed when using them for the first time.

>But I want to be able to truly experience positional audio

Yea just go buy the gaming headset and get a gaming chair and some gaming RAM and a gaming drink because you are a gaming gamer.

plug in directly to the board or card, you dont get 7.1 but its so much louder.

You can get a cheap chinese triple-A battery amp for five bucks or so, pretty cheap solution but I'd imagine it might diminish audio quality, not sure.

DO NOT BUY THE BLUE ONES

I bought those and they broke so fucking easy, biggest waste of money.

My head isn't even that big and they snapped, completely unusable.

Pic unrelated, just hope it grabs your attention you fagit

I have those on the left. They feel incredibly cheap because they're mostly plastic. I bought mine 2 years ago and they still work.

I have those. No complaints so far but I don't know shit about /audio/.

If you don't properly adjust those Logitech ones the bit with the four screws above the earpiece there will break and they'll dangle free

Virtual 7.1 headsets are a meme
But if you really want one get the Cloud II
