It is because it is being pushed so hard by news sites. Anything that gets too much attention will draw Sup Forums's criticism. However, it is not completely unjustified. I obviously don't know how horizon will turn out, but there have been plenty of times when a game with a huge marketing budget received glowing reviews only to be a disappointment when it actually releases. It is unfortunate that a game receiving universal praise is a red flag. I will give it a chance at some point, but like you say, I am indeed still working though Nioh which will be followed by Nier 2. Zelda is also higher on my priority list, but I am also worried about it since it would not be the first time previews have over exaggerated for a Zelda game.
