Fire Emblem Echoes and Ever Oasis. Considering getting the new Story of Seasons on Tuesday because even though I haven't enjoyed new entries in the series fully in like ten years I keep buying them out of hopes I'll like it this time. Also looking forward to the English release of Etrian Odyssey V, the new SMT title, and whatever's next for Gen VII Pokemon, but those are all vague.

Rune Factory 4. It's why I bought the handheld, and I played it for a year straight. Whenever I see a list of recommendations for 3ds and RF4 isn't on it, I flip the fuck out.

Currently leaning towards a 2DS

Not joking, it gets good after you spend more than 50 hours on it. By then you get to High Rank with stronger monsters and you have a better grasp of the weapon or weapons you're maining.

Have you played Kirby Planet Robobot? Is a very fun game. One of my 3DS favorites so far.

If you're interested in softmodding, N3DS has overclocking and the ability to stream without hardmods. The better processor also makes a big difference when playing games like MonHun or Pokemon.

why are all the Jrpgs on 3ds so long(SMT, EO, Bravely Default are like over 50 hours)? I don't have that much time in my hands.

Filling up my Moon dex. Currently sitting at 246, should be done next week. Feels pretty good

Many people like long JRPGs after that became the norm on the PS1 and PS2 due to devs putting in as much content as they could due to the huge size of CD's and DVD's compared to their predecessors.

Recently I've found I like medium-length ones with lots of replayablity the most, like Chrono Trigger, Pokemon, or the Mega Man Battle Network and Star Force games. All of those can be beaten in about 20~30 hours, but either has reasons to go through again like Chrono Trigger, or lots of variables as to how to build your characters or party like Pokemon and MMBN. In the long run those give me the most mileage because they give me reasons to keep coming back. Sure, I adored Dragon Quest VII, but I don't think I'll be spending another 120 hours playing through it again, at least not for a long time.

What are some good Jrpgs aside from SMT IV, EOIV and Bravely Default? I was thinking of 7th Dragon, but I hear its on the easier side. Does it have a lot of content?

Man, I had like 30 digital downloads on my 3DS, then after a few months I realized I wasn't playing it at all so I went to sell it. Of course I went through and wiped it and my account off the system, so all of those games were just wasted money (except for the enjoyment I got out of them at the time). This time I'm going purely physical with the Switch.

severed. that game is fucking amazing and no one ever talks about it

I enjoyed it thoroughly. The only weak part was re-doing the bosses, but aside from that I loved it.
