At 1920x1080 I get around 64~73fps~ depending on the scene.

I have the exact same complain. It's hard to see anything. Too "realistic". Also the game is boring as fuck. I reached Novigrad, yeah it was impresive, but I was too bored at that point. And that combat, holy shit, it's just so fucking awful.

They used to have a nice downloader / installer, which you might still be able to find if you look. They replaced it with the Galaxy client, which is kind of a pain in the ass.

I unironically sometimes really think that way. Playing W3, especially in forest and some such, strains my eyes. I think it's the overly dark shadows, though.
I don't habe this problem in older games like gothic 2 (not actually trying to shitpost here like it's become a habbit in W3 threads, I just love both games really much).

I genuinely think that this is the reason so many games have detective vision or some analog for it nowadays. There's tons more detail than before and it's no longer possible to tell just by looking if an object is meant to be interactable or just decoration.

Gives ypu a fish eyes effect on the edges. Try to watch the trees in the lower right of the pic I quoted. They're bent way too much because on top of the wind they get further bent by the lense effect.
Or take a look at the trees in They are all bent in an unnatural way on top of being naturally bent by the wind.
