Nioh thread

I WANT TO IMPREGNATE OKATSU

I want to not feel burnt out on the game.

Oh well. That's natural after 200 hours.

I just finished Mount Ibuki and killed Mitsunari, how much more do I have to go? I'm starting to get pretty burnt out.

Just kidnap emi takei and your dreams come true user

You're about to go challenge the final boss.

Then there's the Epilogue and the REAL final boss and then Way of the Strong which has a lot of redone enemy placements and changes to some bosses.

jesus..

Posting best girl.

I felt the same thing about Bloodborne, but jumped right back in the following season. I'm still having fun with Nioh but then again I picked it up a week after launch.

>emi takei
Bruh, look at this dood

It's okay. I've got a couple online multiplayer games I'm big on that Nioh made me neglect. I've also got RE7 on Madhouse Mode and all the DLC waiting for me. I also have a Switch and BotW on pre-order coming Friday.I'll be fine.

Nioh will be still be there in a while. I had the same experience as you with BB.

What's with the4 giant fucking noses?

...

Yeah cause you look like Marlon Brando right?

MAIDORII

literally the worst fucking enemy, I despise this fucking thing. That thing and the Onryoki have killed me the most.

...

>tfw couldnt protect her feet

You guys for real?
Just circle him. Unless he starts spamming his 360 claw attack, you should be fine.
Speaking of enemies, why were most bosses so far so fucking easy?
If it weren't for Saika I would've been really disappointed with the bosses.

wot happen
was Wirriam too busy being a KAHMMEN DRUNK

Nah man, that's not a wheelmonk. That's just a piss easy tengu.

>Yokai Realm The Demon King Awakens
>Other person is summoning every single revenant he comes across
>Okay whatever, free divines
>Person drops down onto side part where the Tengu will spawn and you have to fight it on small ledge
>Think he'll just fight that first then revenants
>nope
>Keeps falling off the side, eventually out of bar

At least I got plenty of glory and divine gear, but god damn be smart with your farming.

...

The centipede and water gel sucked, already burn of the game

>tfw you cannot save her

Why is this allowed?

>don't mind me, I'm just going to fuck over half your health bar and apply a dot by just casually rolling into you

That's because you're very skilled, you can't take your experience as the avarage.

Just look on youtube or whatever place you want, you will see 99% of players will die a lot.

Games aren't made to this 1%.

Anyone else disappointed the spirits don't change more than some stats like Yatagarasu? I want to sprout spider arms or grow ram horns...

Robbin Williams killed himself.
He is dead.

I felt like I was getting burn out before Sekigahara and I'm still pushing in NG+. I think I'm going to drop it though.
Game is way too fucking easy and I'm actually a bit disappointed in the overall content. Once you learn the attack patterns of the 7 or 8 enemy types, the game becomes trivial. I probably won't do another playthrough of it after this point.

>Skilled
I saw so many people get stuck at the Giant Toad, even though all you had to do was block.

I don't think the wheel monk is THAT bad unless they get you by surprise or in a confined space. They got very limited moves, which they repeat all the time.

I would say they are very annoying and cheap, but not that difficult compared to other enemies with a full range of combos, debuffs and/or grab attacks.

I'm still salty about the MP changes. I primarily got this game because the co-op on the demo was tough and cool compared to the summon once and fuck off nature of souls games.

Also the game seems much easier now compared to the old tests the only boss I didn't beat first try is the thunder dog. Which killed me by almost one shotting me with a random lighting bolt.

If you're surrounded by dwarfs, a normal short person would seem like a giant.

The vast majority of players can't be as good as that, even if it's pretty basic for a minority.

It blows my mind that people have trouble with this thing. 75% of the time you just stand still and it starts it's extremely long tell for the fire breath attack, where you just go behind it and break it's guard easily. The other 25% if winds up a long tell for a charge, where you just dodge left and then go behind it to break it's guard easily. I've died to it 1 time ever and that was because it surprised me.

The fucking tengus are infinitely worse because they are tanky AND they cut your damage by 75% if they decide to use a wind attack.

Is C agility worth it for axe? I'm considering heavy armor.

What's the highest upgrade for weapons/armor? I'm at +5 right now

Team Ninja logic:

> coop a blind playthrough is too easy

> coop with someone that already beat the boss, got a higher level and knows every trick of the map is the real thing

After beating the full game, I'm salty about the entire experience. The only time I truly felt challenged was the Muneshige and Honda fight and somewhat Sakon, which were just tedious rather than difficult. After you beat Umi Bozu, you know how to beat all of the enemies in the game because there are only 8 enemy movesets if you don't include boss respawns.
I really hope Automata or some of the other games coming out soon are good because after 40 hours of this, I'm disappointed.

The real pain in the ass is when it just does a casual roll midswing and takes out half your health. Tengus are only really a bitch when they make you fight one and the axe guy on the bridge.

I think Nioh is too long for the variety of enemies it has.

It really gets old fast.

It retarded. I feel guilty because my friend brought me the game to play with him and this shit happened. There is no fun replaying old levels that you could steamroll already.

I had a feeling I was going to feel like this too. I'm just forcing myself to play it. Its a great game but I wanted good difficulty with depth but I got neither.

fighting 3 of these at once fuckin sucks.
one of my gripes with the game is the games difficulty goes up and down constantly. i do not feel bad about using extraction talisman+living weapon towards the end of NG.

it feels like even fuckin sloth is needed as a form of crowd control instead of just trivializing one enemy/boss

Is this the worst boss in the game? I just got the game and I was having fun until I fought this guy.

Maybe I did it wrong but I just had him coil around so I could cut off his tail and then baited his poison/paralyze/headbutt attacks and attacked when I had to opportunity.

Is there any boss as boring as him coming up?

It's the epitome of quantity over quality. You should never fall into a gameplay rut while playing any game. That's what happens when you make 50 missions with a limited number of enemies.
People thought the Alpha and Beta were too difficult, so Team Ninja nerfed the shit out of their own game and kept the LOL SO HARD advertising.
People were saying NG+ got better, but it is just more of the same with extra enemies tacked out for a "challenge."

I feel that, I was burnt out halfway through the 4th region. Granted, I was scouring every corner of every map with a low-level accessory that had Kodama sense searching for those little fuckers.

giga skeleton

Boring? I would say the next one, Bozu is ridiculously boring.

Way of the Strong is NG+, don't feel obligated.

>Is this the worst boss in the game
You have no idea.
Really, all the giant bosses are dogshit. Umi-Bozu is cheap at first, then it becomes a boring slog when you realize you can just face-fuck him and mash square.
Skellington is just a DPS race while avoiding mob projectiles and waiting for him to put his hands down so you can swing at them.
Orochi is a fucking awful game of patience, waiting for one of the heads or necks to get in range while the other heads shoot magic projectiles at you.

Toad bro best boss

I feel like Im playing the game wrong but Im still beating it. I just beat yuki onna and so far I've never crafted, used ninjitsu or magic. just used 1kat and the chain hook thing and just attacking and rolling around bosses and oni. I dont really feel punsishes at all for dieing either, sure you lose your aritma but who cares becasue now the game gives you 100000xp for killing one skeleton dying is merely just an annoyance. also what the fuck is up with the weapns and armor drops? the game spams so much at you its hard to keep track. I'm always just choosing the highest level lowest weight armor they give me and just selecting which ever of the 100s of katanas the game throws at me with the highest damage. A retard like me shouldn't be beating this game this easy

No. There will be some more boring bosses. It's because of the amount of bosses. You can't create armies of good bosses.

axe requires some synergy for it to be even viable to be quite honest. a lot of its skills are pretty wack and honestly its moveset is kinda shitty. strong attacks in any other stance besides high feel really shitty

>go to NG+
>easiest mission is level 160

>I'm 120

Put points into Stamina and use heavy armor. It's too good for Axe. And farm up blackurai so you can craft his armor.

I bet she's going to be a massive nagging wife if William will have misfortune to end up with her.

When is Date coming out, and what is the likelihood that the new weapon class is 6kat?

It's just the item level, retard.

the fight itself is whatever. its just that level fucking sucks and it feels anti-climactic when you get to it

Levels don't really matter. The attack and defense values on your weapons and armor is what makes the difference.

>farm up blackurai
This sounds horrible, does he get a Duel Mission later on?
Because replaying the actual level sounds horrible.
Only reason I got the Crow Guys stuff was because there is a Side Mission with him as the boss where you can get to him in like 1 minute and a Onryoki fight.

I wanna fuck this girl real bad

>Kingo set
>stack + damage from behind and sword of execution
>Carnage + Weakness talisman
>Final blow over 10k damage

Shit.

She is pretty damn cute.

>girl

no duel mission for him. people have been just quitting the game out and going back in if the smithing text doesn't drop.

that level is also my least favorite my first time through. just help randoms on that specific mission

Unless Okatsu changes her name to Oyuki, she probably won't end up being his wife.

>when you realize you can just face-fuck him and mash square.

And then you realize that it's possible to still fall off if you're unluckly.

Everything is viable in a game this easy.

Nope and have fun. It's actually a pretty fast level when you memorize how to get to the key quickly. A 3 minute run to the staircase up.

I only use Carnage atm and I get 12k damage.

Considering Okatsu is just a made up character anyway, it wouldn't be too silly to have her to change her name and run off with her husbando.

What hair product do girls of fuedal japan use to make their hair look so nice

Don't touch the stick unless you're dodging away. You'll never fall off unless you're holding forward while attacking. Same shit with the rest of the level; go combo near an edge and you won't fall off.

>chaining every combo into iai quickdraw
>parry and riposte then finish off with highstance heavy attack

To me axe is by far the easiest way to play this game, but maybe I just got used to it.

When I unlocked clans I picked the one with bonus HP from stamina and respected to a build with 50+ stamina and it was crazy. I stopped dieing to shit, stopped using as many elixirs and stocked 50+, and shit out tons of damage on every boss.

I tried other builds and weapons to unlock all dojo missions and I started getting one-shot by stuff and boss fights took five times longer.

Are there any Hot Springs after the game ends?
Got all Kodamas, but not the Hot Spring Trophy.

katanas have perfect base moveset
shame about sword of meditation being complete dogshit tho

Do you summon?

Last spring is in the Demon King Revealed.

I didn't even know summoning was a thing until today. I thought all co-op was doing through the torii gate

I somehow must have missed that one then.
Was to busy getting buttflustered at those two Tengu on the small ass path.

Its a game, i don't think than team ninja care very much about be 100% correct about some historical facts.

It's near the end in the castle, if you go down the stairs there is one of those wall mimics in one of the rooms.

>do a level 20 twilight mission

holy fuck this is hard

Anyone else using a Kusarigama as their main wep?
I switched to it after beating the game with Dual Swords and it seems pretty fun. Reminds me of the threaded cane from BB, pretty decent versatility in most situations.

GOD DAMN IT with how obvious the Nurikabe look you should think I won´t miss so many of them.
>end of the level
Thank God the Ninja Duo can mostly fight every enemy while I just relax and sit back being on revive duty.

Twitlight missions work like that:

Mission lvl * 2

So, lvl 20 = lvl 40.

Its hard but if you farm revenants for a bit they drop good gear making the mission trivial my katana is already strong but I feel like if I do a twilight mission by the time I beat it the rest of the stages until a certain point will be piss easy.

Any bros can chip in is it like the demo where the twilight gear is too fucking good. I'll drop this game if it gets any easier than it is.

kusarigama is overall the funniest weapon to use
shitload of moves with most not being locked into one stance
godly utility as it can pull enemies and apply poison and other effects in one combo
high as fuck dps on waning moon reaper
good self-buff

So all of last week I was Visiting into other people's games without a PSN subscription.

Now I can't do it because of no PSN.

Was this a bug they patched in 1.05 or something?

okay

>Its hard but if you farm revenants
really haven't been bothering with it. I have only fought the red ones.

I might try the twilight revenants if they drop really good shit (been sticking with most of the gold armor you get from 1.04)

> Kill every single revevant on the way
> Drop warrior of the west gear

Does anyone ever use a different set?

I think the most fun I had was dressing up as Mr Karate with the tengu mask, getting some good armor for barehanded damage, getting the hands of death skills, bare handed talismans, carnage talismans, weakness talismans, and joining the +70% bare-handed damage clan.

Your punches become more powerful and efficient than any weapons you can get on your first run.

this is what my friend and I did grated we got really lucky and after our 5th one we had a full lvl 30 warrior of the west set with good skills on it and a good katana with elemental attacks

I might try one too and see if it makes shit too easy

I'm using the Saika set.

There is absolutely no need to summon on any boss given the tools the game gives you to cheese most enemies that give you trouble. Just stack up on sloth talismans and you can kill a lot of the bosses without getting hit.

user
I do not hate you, but I can't let you live
[WHISTLING]

Same here, shooting niggas in the head at point blank range is too fun.
Too bad the Raven is kinda shit.

Red Demon

Its either that or the fucking red demon set.
Everyone wants to RP as dante.

the only problem I have with this guy is that sweep he does with his staff, the timing to dodge is weird and that thing hits everywhere.

>a good katana with elemental attacks

I should try to get a second weapon because all I have for a main is an axe and fora back up dual sword
