1 year later still Sup Forums hasn't recovered yet

To be fully honest not trolling it's a boring bad game but a good movie to watch.
Uncharted? More like Unplayable.
>literally a movie
because Sup Forums is full of contrarians.
>Sup Forums is too naive to realise that replying to OP's thread proves his point
Holy shit I forgot this came out.
Did people play this? Was it good? Something about his daughter?
Whatever.
Post the webms where he get his ass kicked by a strong independent black womyn
>Press X to get to the next hour long cut scene.
He posted it so I just wanted to give my opinion
>people disagreeing with OP are beyond butthurt and can't recover
Why not accept that not everyone finds a playable movie GOTY?
I unironically enjoyed all of the Uncharted games, along with TLoU, and will likely preorder the sequel.
>didn't even win an Oscar
It will be forgotten soon enough. Not even a mention of it last night.
>I unironically enjoyed all of the Uncharted games, along with TLoU,
ok sure
>and will likely preorder the sequel.
nevermind fuck off and die
This.
Except preordering. I've never preordered anything.
>i-it's bad because it's linear and has set pieces!
When will this meme end. The cutscene to gameplay ratio in modern naughty dog games is very in favor of gameplay. Every once in a while you get one that's around 5 minutes so people like are fucking braindead
>and will likely preorder the sequel
What happened to the blurb about the fourth game being Drake's final adventure?
I'm just finishing 4 for the first time. Only thing I didn't like about it is the shilling of the Xperia phones even though I have one and love them.
I think this is the first game I've spent hours just walking around exploring the levels because of how beautiful they are in 15 years, aside from the witcher 3 but that wasn't as good looking to me even maxed @ 60fps.
:^)
Naughty dog games always had stale gameplay except crash i found that ok but modern games, meh
Sometimes people just don't like something that's popular
Sequel to TLoU
Is horizon so bad that you have to shill uncharted 4 again, sonybro?
This.
>Suicide Squad confirmed for best game of the year.
>people will say "WOW IT'S BASICALLY A MOVIE DO YOU EVEN NEED TO HOLD THE CONTROLLER??" because the animation quality is so phenomenal
It happened last time I saw this webm. Fucking christ
...
You should shower with your friends. It will cheer you up.
>shitty linear 6,7/10 game that relies on name and high production values
>always gets a 10/10
The gaming journalism industry is a joke
I had to go out of my way to not get the bundle, I wish they packaged PS4s with actual fun games
>only open world/non-linear games can be good
you are literally the cancer of modern gaming
I don't understand the appeal of the Uncharted games.
Maybe it's because I've only played the first two games, but they were really boring and unfun, especially towards the end. The best parts of the games are the characters with everything else being either completely average or bad.
This was started by an autistic faggot and it only got attention because a c-class actor retweeted it.
Wait is this game already out? I haven't seen anyone talking about it.
no, you have to be obsessed with conformity or you're a fedora
>This was started by an autistic faggot and it only got attention because a c-class actor retweeted it.
Then how come 10,000 sonyggers signed it?
Don't put words in my mouth and assume what I like.
Open world games are only good if they're done right.
The gaming industry is seriously going to shit, much like the movie industry, with its focus on making average "solid" linear games that are the same as the last one, albeit with a new coat of paint and reliance on high production values and name, hence: "OMG it's a masterpiece!"
Games no longer are about breaking boundaries or putting effort in, but about the shallow high production values. Style has taken over substance.
>>shitty linear 6,7/10 game that relies on name and low production values
>Always gets a 10/10
The gaming journalism industry is a joke
I also haven't played it.
I haven't even played TLOU and I own it.
>the greatest game you'll ever SEE on PS4
No one cares about Uncharted but hardcore Sony fanboys.
I've never once seen someone say they wanted to play Uncharted but couldn't.
Sorry linear games, I was wrong about you.
DRONE B T F O
I want to play Uncharted, but I can't.
That was really well put togheter you hit a bullseye my friend totally agree!
Everything about this post is fucking terrible
You are the cancer killing the gaming industry
Everything is only good if it's done right you fucking idiot.
The reason why I dislike Uncharted as a game is cause it's a shit game. It's pretty much a fucking on rails adventure. When you play it on harder difficulties all it does is make you die in less hits and use more bullets to kill.
As a cinematic experience it's great though. Intense, exciting, breath taking.
But as a game it's a pile of shit. Trying to replay them is the biggest, boring, waste of time you could ever have.
>Uncharted
>Done right
Drink bleach =D=D=D
youtube.com
There you go.
These
Atleast Mario has out of the place collectables that you will probly miss the first time unless you explore alot. Sure uncharted has that shit, but all you unlock is trophies. Mario, you unlock new levels
>Atleast
stopped reading right there
>MFW This has the best fucking gunplay in the series
>But has the least amount of shootouts in the series because we just needed so many fucking boring climbing
>Uncharted 4 looks good by modern standar-
Good. Cause then you can keep deluding yourself into thinking uncharted or even last of us are actually good games. Shit mechanics with high production value and no replay value.
This 1000%
>Doom
sorry linear games i was wrong about you
Fact: Gamers don't care about gameplay anymore. They only like to look at pretty exciting cutscenes
Proof: Vanquish sales compared to any god damn AAA TPS last gen and even this gen
>try the demo for the PS4 collection
>the gameplay feels like ass, movement and combat is weightless and floaty and there's some extreme magnetism going on in the platforming
>characters seemed likeable enough but not enough to carry how shit the game felt
I though 2 was supposed to be the best in the series?
Yep. It's all style over substance shit. And names too, if a big name is attached to it, it's "holy shit, this is genius!" even though the game is actually mediocre.
2 is the best cause. 1 is a pile of dog shit and 3/4 are just more of the same. It's a cinematic experience not a game
>I get mad in a taiwanese anonymous board
Uncharted has no replay value just like the recent mario games.
There is a difference between disliking a product and screaming and crying about one.
I don't even like Mario, but I'd rather play it over an Uncharted game. It's fun to play. Uncharted is literally the most bland TPS ever made with a high budget to make it look awesome. It's complete shit once you've seen everything the first time
Stop projecting
I forgot about this game
Vanquish is not a game for most people. It would never sell 10 million units
Everything happens too fast (I'm not complaining I'm just saying), you need very quick reflex, even so you'll die a lot in normal. Most people would go back and start the game on easy. Then they will realize the game is not interesting because they are just pressing buttons and killing enemies.
Also the 80s badass patriotic theme is not very welcomed by the hipster media. There are many moments in the game that reminds me of Rambo movies.
Same reason why Microsoft didn't localize Metal Wolf Chaos
I thought it was fantastic desu, far better than that trash The Last of Us
Nobody even remembers this game aside from the occasional shitpost from sonyga/v/
What the fuck are you on about?
Uncharted and most of first party sony games are 1 time play. If you forget about them in 4 or 5 years you might want to play again.
Since the industry loves graphics and storytelling this is the kind of game that sells.
However that doesn't mean Mario 3D world is much better because it has more gameplay than cutscenes.
I know people like to shit on it but it's honestly not a bad game at all. Not anywhere near 10/10 obviously but still.
I also look forward to when Sup Forums thinks ratings suddenly matter during the great HZD vs Zelda war
>I also look forward to when Sup Forums thinks ratings suddenly matter during the great HZD vs Zelda war
99% of those threads are made by people who will never play either game
I'm 90% sure the HZD vs. Zelda shitposting is just that, shitposting. I'd consider myself more of a PS person (I like Nintendo games but I haven't bought one of their systems since the Wii and original 3DS) and I think Horizon looks like irredeemable garbage.
Mario is better cause it's a fun pick up and play game
so is uncharted
not 3D world and certainly not the highly praised Mario galaxy or 3D Land.
It was Mario Sunshine that destroyed the mario franchise and since 2002 nintendo completely lost interest in making a good mario game.
Yoshi's New Island is a 7/10 attempt but nothing more than that.
>that webm
Or, you know, just take cover.
Really? I tought mario galaxy games were pretty decent.
>I don't know what "literally" means
The fuck are you talking about, Sup Forums was excited as fuck. I personally think the Madagascar level was the most fun of the entire franchise. I wish they would do a Far Cry 2 remake that looked that beautiful.
I rented it for 5$. Worth it for that price. Absolutely beautiful, super fluid and interactive(to enviroment) animations and gameplay is pretty good. 8.5/10 in the end. Uncharted 2 was better
>Uncharted 4
93 on Metacritic
92 on OpenCritic
>Bloodborne
92 on Metacritic
91 on OpenCritic
So what exactly makes Uncharted 4 just that little sliver better than Bloodborne?
They saved the franchise after Sunshine.
>washingtoncompost
Not even once. If they had their way, we'd be saying president Jeb or president Clinton.
If you play it on the dolphin you can put 3 times the resolution it will like a modern game
Between this and TLoU, why all the paid reviews? Don't remember it happening with previous Uncharted titles.
Uncharted 4 may be a normie game, but it's the best normie game I've ever played in my life.
Yeah I've played through them both a few times on Dolphin.
I thought it was pretty good, the no load times besides the initial one helped pacing a lot.
>No doughnut drake:(
I saw that movie, it was okay
Sorry linear games, I was wrong about you.
I've never enjoyed open world outside of Minecraft
I'm not even mad, it's a pretty good movie and the tie-in game was well done too.
devs need to realize there's something inbetween linear hallways and open world shit
I kind of just ended up with a copy when I bought a PS4 since it came with it. I'll definitely give it a whirl once I'm actually caught up with the series. Also every Sony game is monstrously overhyped and praise to absolutely ridiculous extents to the point where I can't take it all seriously anymore, but it doesn't necessarily mean the default alternative is that it's a shit game. I keep hoping one of these days people will wake the fuck up and realize that not everything is always 10/10 best game ever or 0/10 blunder of the century....possibly at the same time.
Don't play the others. UC4 is the only good one except maybe 2.
Got it for $30 on Amazon
Waiting until I get the Platinum PS4 headset to play this with 3d surround sound
