This reminds me a lot of Bioshock Infinite. Everyone thought they were being super intelligent by giving it high scores and saying the story was deep and they called it the Citizen Kane of gaming.

And then The Last of Us comes out and they just repeat the same shit as Infinite and call TLoU the Citizen Kane of gaming and everyone doesn't even acknowledge Infinite exists after that moment.

Basically this is what will happen to a Horizon after Zelda comes out. Reviewers have no choice but to give it higher scores because they blew their lid.
