How much for this item?

>How much for this item?
"offer :)"
>alright, how about [average market price]?
>"lol"

>BUYING XXXX IN BULK
>SEND ME ALL YOUR XXXX [1/3 market price]

For every time you turn down these trades, as a reasonable person, tons and tons of people agree to it. That's why you keep seeing it.

Yep, this. Whenever a new MMO comes out I make money hand over fist buying in bulk from lazy fucks who aren't interested enough to sell it off in smaller quantities at competitive prices.

>hey would you accept (really low number)?
>No, I'll take (lower than asking price)
>Fuck you

>have rare recipe for item
>make item, jack up the price to sell it for loadsamoney
>"hey i have mats for item, will you make it for me? will tip"
>no
>eventually they cave and buy the one I already made

who else /jew/ here?

HEY LOL I KNOW THAT FEELING!

>have a bunch of XXX
>don't have the will or need for market
>npc buys them for 1/10 market price
>see some desperate fag asking around for them
>might as well get rid of them this way

>buying gf

>hold on let me consult my whole entire guild if this is a good deal or not

why even bother with this post?

>Selling item
>Find buyer instantly for the asking price
>Second person shows up also offering the asking price
>Realize I can fuck with the second because I already have a sale
>tell him "sorry dude bids are up to [over double the asking price]
>sure I'll pay that
>make bank
>mfw playing an MMO full of retards where stuff like this works constantly.

HEY LOOK GUYS ITS A TRIPFAG! AND HE THINKS HES FUNNY!
HAHAHAHAHA

>"oh hey some guy gave me a better deal do you want to beat his offer?"
>said guy doesn't exist and he's just trying to squeeze more gold out of you

when someone says offer it means they dont know shit

Huh.

...

>TRIPFAG

He's a retard but so are you.

>sell item to XXXX
>see XXXX immediately selling it for more in World Chat

>play on a private server with friends
>end up finding a fucking goldmine of a farming spot
>every two mobs a chest drops, containing lots and lots of Gems
>mobs have a really fast respawn time
>farm and farm for days with buds
>basically have 5 guild banks full of gems
>level a (((Jew)))elcrafter
>end up spammin the AH with all the crafted gems there are in the game
>make shitload of money
>buying all the other gems and reselling them 5x the price
>end up fucking up the whole servers economy (AH wasn't faction sided, Alliance could buy from horde)
Man those were fun times

If you know they're doing that just don't play their game, it's that easy, give them a "oh nah that's way too much" and wait patiently for them to come crawling back.

when they do, say "sorry that's still to high I'll only take [lower than your original offer]

Now kiss.

>playing games with "economies" at all

>only selling these items as a set xDD

No u

>Playing Italian games with no economies

Capitalism is fun!

>Sell rare item x, pm offers
>Get spammed with "HOW MUCH?"
Why can't these fuck faces understand the words "pm offers"?

>Get two sellers messaging me
>Ask both about the price, to make sure
>First one asks normal buying price
>Second says offer :^)
>Buy the item from first guy
>Tell second one I'm willing to buy for twice the normal price
>They agree
>Quickly adds item to table, and agrees to trade
>Show them I already have the item
>Call them out
One of the most funnest trading moments I've had.

Because they probly know you're just going to sell it to the highest offer.
Ya jew.

BECAUSE IT'S SELF-EFFACING AND SINCERE IN A NON THREATENING MANNER AS IF TO SHOW HUMILITY TO A VERY UNREASONABLE CIRCUMSTANCE!

...I don't get it.

The first one asks normal price and the second wants you to offer, so you offer double the price to the second and you call them out?

Am I missing some sort of clue here?
From how I see it, the second one could call you out on a fake offer.

is this a game i can be a jew in ? im not into eastren game but i want a game where i can make shitload of money

>Warframe trading in a nutshell
Just remembering it hurts, the kikery was strong there

>Buying X item
>'hey dude I'm selling X for [four times it's price]
>eventually get sick of it
>sure dude :)
>open trade, put in money, don't click accept
>mfw I go afk to cook dinner
>come back an hour and a half later and the trade is still open, chat log full of him typing "please" "dude pls..." "click accept...."

literally play a tank in world of warcraft

Yes, they could, because it is.
Their willing to take twice the normal price from unsuspecting buyer, with more than possibly knowing the normal price.
It's a really shitty thing to do, just for more profit.

>Not going on the offensive and becoming the king jew
All you have to do is talk like you know what you're doing and always be willing to push the jew levels harder, people cave 99% of the time.
It's way easier to sell things, but you have almost no reason to be buying things in warframe in the first place.

Warframe was the only game where I never tried to get a deal or market value at all, I would quite happily pay out the ass for shit.

...

>Buying X
>get another [four times asking price]
>sure dude haha okay :)
>open trade
>put in their asking price, just missing a 0 at the end
>they're stupid enough to click accept without paying attention because they're so excited over thinking they just made a sick overpriced sale

>TF2 unusuals
Autism and jewery, both orbiting fucking hats.

What if I kill a less experienced player in PvP, is that also a really shitty thing to do?

If they want to spend their pixel money wisely and make an educated offer they should research their shit by checking the market, which takes less than one minute. If they can't be bothered I'm not there to mother them.

Ah yes, Robo Hobo Luchador Heavy. A classic. Speaking of TF2, anyone that asked for sweets in a trade deserves to be shot.

>Buy up all of some commodity that is somewhat rare but there isn't much of a demand for
>Put mine up at a ridiculous price
>Get on alt
>Start shouting in town like a retard WHERE CAN I GET [ITEM] NEED THIS [ITEM] BADLY PAYING [More than double what I just put it up for]

>300 keys for unusual shit thrown together
>400 for unusual shit thrown together with a side order of green energy and lime paint
only on outpost

>sell all my tf2 unusuals
>get about 700 bucks
>use that to buy a new computer
jewery indeed

>path of exile trading

Just kill me now, it's the worst of both worlds

Have to put up with retards, afk people, bad UI, shitty trade system and having to load around the game, teleporting back and forth to sell every fucking item, spammers/scammers pming you every time you list anything worth a lot

J U S T

All this talk of jewry is making me want to play Wow again

As a furniture making jew in ESO I can't quite relate. If you want certain rare items made you need to buy them from me - at the price I see fit.

>Buy up all of some commodity that is somewhat rare but there isn't much of a demand for
The game I'm playing right now has a fucking price history for all items on the marketplace. Displays as a curve for the last day, week, or month.

Everyone sees it plain as day when someone tries to pull that shit and the prices normalize in an hour.

Kind of sucks though.

So you're willing to prey on people new to trading, just for more pixel bucks?
>Not telling them the buy price
>Not getting a returning customer
:^)

Good job selling digital hats for something actually useful.
Can't believe how much people are willing to throw away at digital shiny hats.

>playing ESO
Not even player houses could make me go back

5c tabbers on poe are worse

>buy a shitty car for 500
>go to another seller
>"Sup nigger, I wanna get me a [same shitty car you bought earlier], I'll pay a grand for it"
>"okay, sure, I'll go in and get the paperwork"
>"not so fast I already bought it for 500!"

You do realize it's not fool who asks, but the one who pays?

>New comment on your profile
>+rep fast and friendly trader

What in the fuck are the point of these?
Can I cash these in for prizes somewhere or something?

>get a bunch of shit that has decent market price
>cant bother to be a fucking jew
> sell all of them for half of market price
i hate bargaining for shit. this is in warframe and luckily enough theres not a massive difference in expensive gear vs common gear and character strength usually has to be grinded for rather than from buying shit

it makes other people sliiiiiiightly more willing to trade with you

>Used to be really into sharking in TF2
>Would server hop and copy/paste everyone in the server's info into this jewing website that would bring up every valuable item in their inventory and show how many hours they have so you know if its a worthwhile endeavor or not
>Scammed probably a hundred bucks worth of salvaged crates, cosmetics, and stranges off of kids that had no idea what they were doing before valve killed sharking with their waiting periods and trade holdings
>These were children who's parents were in the other room, not even aware some mean-spirited cunt was taking advantage of their kids being ignorant

Even though these were people that probably never learned what had happened, I still feel kinda bad about it. They just wanted my cool lazor weapons.

>Go to car dealerships
>One dealership says car is 500
>Other says offer :^)
>First dealership already said it was 500, and is right because I already know the price
>Go to first dealership, buy car for 500
>Go to other dealership and say I'll buy car for 1000
>They agree to sell it
>Show them I already have car and that they have jacked up the price
>Report them to higher ups for jacking up the price

You do realize it's not the buyer who's at fault, but the Jew for not doing what's right.

>tfw happy with my demo and pyro, the only classes I have unusuals for
>Did not pay xXMYLITTLEPWNY2004Xx a cent for either of them, just eventually traded up enough to get what I wanted
>Now feel no need to hunt for more

Play Nostalrius

And you do realize that for instance, used car market or ingame markets rely on agreements between two consenting parties, rather than centrally mandated price? And you literally don't have to agree jew salesman terms, so either they'll find another retard, lower the price closer the market value or go out of business?

>Report them to higher ups for jacking up the price

>You do realize it's not the buyer who's at fault, but the Jew for not doing what's right.

Oh yeah, you're fucking communist who hates freedom.

Every time I try this

>nah i'm ok thanks
>never sell anything

>Freedom is stealing peoples money

>the fucking game makes you play as your love interest's past boyfriends until you come full circle to the beginning scene of the game

That's a sexy looking Demo, user.
What nade launcher is that? I haven't played since like 2013.

Hey, if they agree to a price they know it's ripoff - they're the idiots. It's not like your precious ingame items are something you'd actually need. But go ahead, start making strawmen since all you pinko fucks can is to come up with "Not an argument: The Post"

Thanks mate
It's called the Iron Bomber, grenades it fires don't roll or bounce and they have like a -15% explosion radius.

>Isn't satisfied with his character's appearance unless it has a shiny, attention-grabbing effect on it
Meh. Personally I don't think you shouldn't own any cosmetics or weapons worth more than 8 keys, unless you're trying to sell them.

Iron Bomber, it came out about two years ago. Nice alternative to stock.

>Private Ragnarok Online back in the early 2000s
>some random guy quit and gave me all his shit
>lazy dumfuk kid but know enough of the economy
>sell all his shit
>start buy and sell business by buying really low and selling really high
tfw miss the times when I had so much goddamn free time I multi boxed with an old p4 desktop and my mom's old laptop playing ragnarok online literally manipulating market prices by maximizing how many windows I can open at the same time.

literally have toons buying and selling the same shit a few meters apart, good times.

It's autistic as fuck but who cares

Most fun I ever had in minecraft was a simple server with a few mods, basically one mod that added money and shops and another mod that let you rent space. The rest of the server was a free for all, with the last thing being it had a fairly small world border, which had a great side effect.

Plants were a rare commodity that the rich controlled, but they had to stay rich to own the land or else you lose the plot and can then be bought by someone else who in turn gets the plants.

Turned everyone into greedy mother fuckers all trying to undercut the other guy. Only time I had true fun with that game.

If I wanted to grab attention, I'd have lime green unusuals for all of my classes. I just like the hat and like the effect and I had unboxed a Terror-Watt Reggealator so I traded it for a hat I actually wanted.

>Sell bunch of shit under the currently lowest seller
>Get angry mail from the previously lowest seller about how they will destroy you and your "business" if you ever do it again
>Keep doing it anyway

Still waiting for the faggot to destroy me and my "business"

>Come up with something that isn't "Not an argument: The Post

I'm just trying to prove that people that jack up the prices are jews, and total assholes. All you're doing is saying that people that fall for it are idiots and they don't deserve their pixel bucks and you do, because they don't know the real price.
>But go ahead, start making strawmen since all you pinko fucks can is to come up with "Not an argument: The Post"

How bout you actually make an argument that isn't "They fell for it, so their stupid and I deserve it" over and over again.
Stupid american pig

How'd you make the conversion to cash money safely? I've always seen digital marketplaces as a simple way to make lots of fake money but that final conversion seems difficult to do.

Man, the only time I've ever had fun with Minecraft is with the Hack/Mine mod. The only "MMORPG" I ever really got into.
>Left a treasure chest with high tier armor and weapons in it in a hidden little cave in a random field 9 miles out from the spawn zone with a sign above it saying "user was here"
I wonder if anyone ever found it.

>not immediately discontinuing the discussion as soon as someone's reply to the question "How much...?" is "offer"

Only lowlife third world poorshits do that and they will ALWAYS try to scam you. It's pointless to continue.

>selling shit on the auction house
>undercut highest price by 1 copper

You jacked up the price. You made the offer. To them, it was a great offer. By taking bids, they would have to work under the assumption that whatever people WILLINGLY offer, the buyer is fine to part with for that item.

This may be greed, but it's not theft.

Is selling for average market price good or no? I have a CSGO case that's worth like $6 right now.

I can't get on my account at the moment though. My hardrive shit itself and I'm waiting to buy a new one soon.

>Put item on auction house
>Ask for more than the norm of said item
>Silly Jews buy your item to sell it to you

I don't feel like I'm preying on someone when they come to me with their own terms. I would give them back the money if they actually came back to me crying they had no idea and accidentally gave me too many pixel digits but I don't think anyone would ever deem it such a big deal.

Also: I usually just set up a stall with items 20% lower than the average market price because I want to get rid of shit fast. I do have some rare items I ask a lot for but I'm not disappointed when I find out those are the only pieces unsold. Eventually rich collectorfags will buy them one by one. I don't need returning customers since I make enough from my few jewmaster trades.

I owned the market for Mysterious Fortune Cards back in the day. Shit was tight. It was the most money I'd ever had at one time, eventually I was rich enough to buy out any undercutting cards, mark them up, and put them back on the market just so I kept control. Shit funded my legendary daggers and my alchemy mount.

>so am I you mong, it says 400 x, i'm giving you a good deal
>"hold on let me ask my tribe of cretins"
>"ok fine 700 x"

I dont even know how some people can be so retarded. I don't know if that guy was '''''trolling''''', or just had the bargaining skills of a child, but christ.

Ah good times, played an mmo called world of Kung fu in 2007, I am a literal farm bot. Sit on a spot and farm 3 mobs for their 330-370 coin each, 18 hours a day with a level 30 character on a fresh server making 1.2-1.3 mil coins a day. Buy all the premium currency from the lazy donors for 5k each since it's a fresh server. Stockpile insane amounts of it ( the premium currency as tradeable ) and equip myself with all the stat boosting premium items and shit. Eventually half a year into the server's life cycle the gold costs 500k a piece since everyone is max level and can farm money by doing dungeons and shit. Sell my insane amounts of jew gold for billions of coins when I want to start on another fresh new server, and trade my surplus premium currency and coin for real life money basically collapsing the whole servers economy.

You're underestimate how many kiddies play vidya.

>sell spots in kiting team so old lazy vets can level up their new pvp toon
>start chatting with them about how game is dying and it will never be like the golden days
>they eventually pay me just to talk to them and stay in the game
>become the first ingame psychologist

>hey it's the second time i bought the same item from you
>can i get a discount?

Stories like this remind me of the time I went to Hong Kong and looked around the night markets. People would try to sell you shit for ludicrous prices, but would drop it significantly every time you said no.

Sure, it's asshole practice in buyer's perspective(and fantastic way to get profit from sellers perspective). But the thing is - with freedom of trade comes certain caveats. And since the system in place is isn't necessarily regulated as heavily as your autistic fantasies, people are going to take advantage of those caveats. So fucking what, your autistc trade window juggling isn't gonna do anything in that regard, and neither does arguing with me. I'm calling you idiot in two simple reasons:

1) You don't seem to fundamentally realize what the economy system in place is(free market with two parties who consenting parties). With that freedom comes also freedom to do shitty deals due to being new, being lazy, being uninformed, etc.The economy could be restricted, true, but that doesn't seem to be the case here if price jacking is an option to jews. And in this case, if you can find the seller who actually sells the goods with better deal easily, why should you whine about the state of the market?

2) Nobody said I'd deserve the numbers in bank somehow more than another. In the end, that's what it is about, numbers tied to account/character, nothing more serious. Some people find it funny to play the king of Judeah(like certain anons here), some people infuriating(like you), some don't give a flying fuck what two people agree to sell virtual items. That's the deal with private business agreements: there's no inherent value tied to transaction of goods, only that what the both seller and buyer agrees on.

Also, fyi, not a yank.

I haven't bothered with this autism since full jew in Runescape in school, but I always fucking hated:

>item worth X, sell for Y
>"i'll buy your item"
>meet for trade, throw item into window
>fucking idiot loads trade window with a bunch of items instead of the agreed upon amount and the items don't even add up to the full worth if sold individually.

Fucking always pissed me off and it happened so often, my block list was completely full. I didn't mind the people that would haggle and often times they'd offer items worth well more than the gold which I could either sell or use.

>elysium
