Is it just me or does the final game really feel easier compared to demos?
I just started playing today and I could swear the enemy placement in the first mission is different. Several enemies are missing, for example that guy with spear hiding in the dead end near the shack where you first get your bow. Gank squads from demos are reduced to a lonely 1kat shitters in final game.
Onryoki also felt much easier than in the demos.
Having a great time nevertheless.

I don't think so, the later levels definitely represent the challenge that was present in the demo. Especially in the ways they try to fuck you with enemy/trap placement

I think they're adding a new difficulty mode. I don't know if it's like diablo though where you go through the game multiple times with higher level requirements and slight differences or if it's a real difficulty setting that's accesible from level 1.

I'm barely done with the cave level, and the areas with the fiends and one-eyed Onis were tough. I think I'm dying more per mission than I did per level in Bloodborne.
Game's fun as hell, though.

The item sorting is still shit, but otherwise I'm enjoying the game. Switched from axes to dual swords, and it feels so much better.

He launched a coup and was set to kill Nobunaga, however Nobunaga instead, rather then be killed by the coup decided to set Honnoji on fire killing both himself and his boytoy Ranmaru Mori.
I agree with this, ng+ feels like the demo difficulty I remember. It feels well balanced, now I'm at the point where I'm so strong I can kill enemies quick if I play right but one wrong move and I can still get fucked hard.
