I wouldn't recommend it though. The start is fun enough, but then the bullet sponge enemies set in, the bow never feels quite right, you've done this a million times already in every other open world game, you realize the story is crap, all the conversation scenes are Bioware tier and that the voices will never improve.

If you have the coin, do it. Its graphics look quite nice and the game itself seems like it's fun.

Agreed. Don't fall for the Horizon shills. The game is generic. It might be a fundamentally functional game - it has all the boxes checked of what modern AAA games have, but that's why it's so boring.

That's why I'm tired of most AAA western games. And especially why I'm disapointed with modern Sony. Game dev on ps4 is more focused on the western devs and not jap devs and they are the ones that gave us all those great PS2 franchises that have yet to make an appearance on the system.

I'm with the other anons in this thread, give it a miss for now, It's a new ip and you won't be able to complete it before zelda is released, pick it up cheaper after then and when others have played it and reviews are out.

The game was the most fun I have in a singleplayer game in over 4 years. And I played alot of games during that time.

I agree. People who bash a game without playing make no sense to me. Game just came out. Time will tell if it's good or not. I'm buying when it comes down in price a bit.

I was on the same fence yesterday. I'm glad I pulled the trigger and got it even though Sup Forums mostly said not to get it. I'm currently on a foodbreak from the game. I played for 7 hours in a row today and 6 yesterday and barely touched the mainstory.

BUY IT ON SALE.

Horizon looks good, but Zelda is out on Friday. Are you sure you can't hold off Horizon until a pricedrop? Also Nier next week and Persona 5 next month.

I got this game on launch and pre ordered Zelda too. I might have to postpone playing Zelda for a few days atleast since this game is taking up alot of my time and I'm having fun. 9/10 so far. I'm at work right now and it fucking sucks. I miss being a NEET but then I wouldnt been able to get both games.

Traversing geography? Voicing her inner monologue about her thoughts on the current situation.
In cutscenes/dialogue? Quipping like a goddamn retard.

Full on fucking awful game and the main character is a huge reason why. The rest is all borderline competent.
