If you could choose one game to play again for the first time what would it be?
(....and lets assume that you are transported back in time to its release date for the duration of the play-through)

Other urls found in this thread:
Easy
For me, Metal Gear Solid 2
GTA San Andreas
RAZORFIST GET OUT REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Quake 3 or Halo CE
Bloodborne
The only thing that somewhat diminished the experience was the fact that I played it almost two years after release so I already knew a bit about it. Going in blind it would've blown my mind
GOD FFFFFFFFUCKING SPEED!!!!!!!!
Majoras mask
New Vegas
WoW
Final Fantasy X
>MGS 1
My nigga.
my life
Same
Fuck the haters
Anyone who answers this question different than WoW is underage and has to leave, or is lieing.
Steel Battalion
I did play this for the first time a few weeks ago
It was enjoyable, In its time it had to be fucking amazeballs.
If i would be transported back as in being a kid again Doom or The Legend of Zelda. Otherwise Star Wars Galaxies.
This game.
>WoW
>2004
youre the underage here
This but honorable mentions for
ff ix
Undertale
Not joking, i had a lot of fun the first time and i would do it again, it was enjoyable before you realized how pants on head retarded the story is
Super Mario 64.
>babby who didn't start with EverQuest
Half life 1 or Portal
"Haha, this was pretty fun!"
"lol play again"
"Jesus fucking christ these characters are retarded
"lol play again"
"Fuck all of these people."
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHA
[Awkward laugh]
Aahhh Hahaha
HA HA HA HA HA HA. AHHHH HAAAAH HAAAH ....
Really ?
God damn I love this game, none of the other ones felt nearly as good
Are you literally too retarded to maths?
>reinstall life
>start new game
>won't run due to newer hardware
>install fan made patches and mods to get life to run on new hardware
>patches and mods corrupt data
>spawn in as mongoloid with 12 fingers and down syndrome
Yea, no thanks
The World Ends With You, although is a close second.
tfw had everquest on the ps2
Trials and Tribulations or Paper Mario TTYD.
Would rather have it just erased from my mind.
mmos have always been boring as shit games. who wants to play a rpg where instead of grand adventure you go around doing mundane shit
...
...
>Would rather have it just erased from my mind.
I agree for everything after TBC.
>not playing cs 1.6 and diablo 2 before switching to WoW as your main game
sure is underage fgt in here desu
not my fault you were too young to play when it released kid
It's by far my favorite game period.
I was too young to fully appreciate it as anything other than a fun sneaky game the first time round, it took until my 3rd playthrough or so to understand a lot of the subtleties.
Are we going into it without any video game knowledge we have gained past it's launch or are we just saying, we are the same only our memory of said game is completely gone?
If only our memory of the game is gone, then any game I can pick will not be as enjoyable because I'll have my experience playing video games for nearly 3 decades at my disposal.
If I am to be changed completely to accomodate the game's launch and to not have years and years of video game knowledge at my disposal, then I choose Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
I wouldn't. There's always a chance I won't like it as much as I do now, that part of what made it special to me would be gone.
My whole life
I would just avoid getting born
Skyrim.
WoW is dog turd. Even when it was new it was fucking boring.
>Undertale
..of all the games, you choose that?
Please tell me what your response was so I can make a snarky passive aggressive comment about it too
Why was it so great the first time? I downloaded it but never installed.
Dude srsly.. can you even maths?
Even if I was 6 years old at the time, barely able to read, I'd be 22 now. The NA education is strong in you.
Mass Effect trilogy (and I loved the ending)
Not trolling
Fite me
>mfw I know it is a great game and I yet have to play it
Feels good, I have the PC version installed and fucked around on the first levels, not much time to play lately sadly
>muh ps1 version
Enjoy your low-res blurry inferior version faggot
>muh remake
enjoy your "le matrix meme" faggot
>Are we going into it without any video game knowledge we have gained past it's launch
Yes.
Bioshock 1
Hmm there are so many, I couldn't choose just 1
So here is 3
Fable
GTA San Andreas
Runescape
Only one of them I can still stomach to play nowadays is Fable. I live getting lost in the world of Albion, but the first time was the greatest ever.
Then SMRPG. Easy.
UNDERAGE
>Enjoy your low-res blurry inferior version faggot
I would, because;
When I first played it it on Ps1 it was awesome.
>6+13=22
BACK TO >>/REDDIT/ SUBHUMAN UNDERAGE
SMT3: NOCTURNE
Probably The Wutcher 3. What a journey.
I still haven't played Thief II or anything Persona beyond the first one, ought to get around to it one of these days.
Anyway, if I could pick a series I'd go with Ace Attorney, there's something about those games that grabs me insanely hard and the gameplay doesn't exactly age. For an individual game it's a lot harder, partially because of With that in mind I might actually go for LISA, it's not an old or long game so I guess you could consider it a bit of a waste but it was a hell of a trip the first time I played it. Suikoden II is another candidate.
I don't know.
Either Resident Evil 4 or Dragon Age Origins.
can I choose to read steel ball run for the first time instead?
Sure.
PLEASE
Half life or pokemon green purely for the reason that my best friend would be with me like it was when I fist played. We played every pokemon game together up until he died in 2005.
have you entered the true man's world?
STALKER
Original System Shock.
It is the best game ever made and I played it first time in my twenties in 2009 so no nostalgia either.
Okami
its gotta be this one baby
this or yume nikki
i'm a big walking sim kinda guy.
Shenmue
Kingdom Hearts
Although I kinda wish I never played it to begin with
Dragons Dogma
I cried and felt bad that the story ended there.
When the sequel came out I was glad that he remained the man he was.
In the end he was a true hero.
Shadow of the Colossus
Too many to choose.
I guess I would pick World of Warcraft, but only if I could experience it from 2005 - 2009 during it's golden years, with the same people / culture / etc.
I'd want to go back and read F/SN again. The first time I read it I was completely unspoiled on the Fate franchise, and Heaven's Feel for the first time was a blast. People who started with Fate/Zero will be screwed out of why it was good and call it shit because of all the cooking scenes at the beginning, like I see to this day with UBW shitters.
i started on elysium and man, my hearts just not in it anymore. I play FFXIV and its alright, but nothing will capture the wonder and mystique that was WoW when you started it.
...
>I would get to experience my 4 year old hardcore raiding guild collapse again like a jenga tower all because of one girl who joined the guild
probably this. I'd relive this single-player experience over all the massively multiplayer game experiences I've had over the years any day.
I know nothing about this game. What's it like? Ace Combat but even more anime?
Hard to choose.
The last of us or The Legend Of Dragoon.
Definitely Persona 4. I played it during a winter break in college (not on release) and it was raining irl during most of duration of the game. It was maximum comfy.
I don't think I'd pick any because life's better now than it's ever been, and life was pretty damn shit at some points before.
But purely for experience purposes, probably Suikoden 1, 2, or 5. Any of those would work.
Snek Devourer.
>you have to be some autist youtuber to like one of the best games ever made
