I'm pre-ordered BotW and have been talking plenty if shit about H:ZD. But actually, I'm hella curious about it and looks like it could definitely be a great game.

I dont know why people who each possess a japanese console should hate each other. If you want the best gaming experience in the next 3 years those two consoles are all you need.

I own a PS4 and I'm going to buy a switch maybe later this year or next year when it possibly got a price drop and has more nintendo games. For me nintendo the last few gens has always been more of a luxury thing that you purchase when you want more games since you need at least another platform to play most mainstream releases on.

I hate both of them.

They are few and far between and mostly indies. If you also own a newer laptop you could use that to play those games. But not really necessary. PC exclusives dont come anywhere near close to horizons or Zeldas quality.

I got HZD and have been loving it. I also have Zelda and a Switch preordered but I don't think Zelda looks as good. It seems to still be outdated compared to other open world games. We'll see how it goes.

I would buy a PS4. but there aren't enough games i like on the system, and I prefer nintendo videogames overall. I do enjoy me some indie games, so the switch will probably be my preferred console in the time being.

Anyway, I hope to play HZD some day, it probably looks amazing on the PS4 pro (exept for the animations)

I got a PS4 Pro and an HDR TV. It looks better than 99% of PC games. The animations are incredible, especially for the robots. What you talkin' bout' son?

I don't have a PS4, but Horizon looks like a fun game. I don't have anything against it.

I despise Guerrilla Games and think Horizon is one of the worst looking games I have ever set my eyes on. Granted, this is because I fell for the bullshit hype that Gurrilla Games and the sony ponies made for the Killzone series.

No single game is going to dethrone Zelda at this point. If it could be done, Dark Cloud (the "Zelda killer" of the early PS2 era, great game and is on PSN if you don't feel like emulating it) would've done it. You need a series. So far to my knowledge, FF is the only fantasy series that can slug it out with Zelda and even then I'm not sure on that.

I legitimately hope Horizon is a good game. I loved Killzone and it was a horrible shame to see the backlash the devs (who also developed Horizon) got Killzone didn't dethrone Halo like the retarded Sonyfags said it would. I legitimately hope Horizon winds up becoming a successful series, so it actually can eventually slug it out with Zelda and who knows, maybe even win.

More competition is good for all of us, and God knows Nintendo seriously needs it. I don't know why it's so fucking hard to get that.

I don't think it is. It was just declared as such by Sony fanboys during the early PS2 era. It really is better than it looks. Like I said, that was early, EARLY PS2, when things barely looked better than PS1. A Zelda killer doesn't exist, and right now it's pretty much impossible. Like I said, you'd need a series to fight Zelda. No single game can do it.

I do think Dark Cloud is an excellent game though. Emulate it, that way if you don't like it, most you'll lose is time. You can probably find the ISO over on Emuparadise.

Not really anymore. With a PS4 Pro and an HDR capable TV most console games that support HDR look better than 99% of PC games. Even shit like Ratchet and Clank look stunning with HDR enabled. HDR makes a massive difference and HDR monitor are not existent for PC and only a couple games on PC even support HDR. This coming from someone with a 1080 SLI rig.

I intend to buy horizon in a couple months when the price goes down a little, maybe when a GOTY version with all the DLC comes out. Nintendo very rarely drops prices, so I'm fucked into paying full price if I want to play it in the next 4 years, so that's the route I'm taking. I doubt by the time I play horizon I'm going to be comparing it to botw.

It's to do with W10, HDR support is coming with the spring update. HDR monitors are out later this year. It's a great time for 4k HDR.

HDR has nothing to do with Windows 10. HDR is hardware related. I tried RE7 on PC connected to my HDR TV. It looks pretty great. So yeah, no idea what you're talking about with this spring update.

Zelda has more content and is for regular gamers or zelda fans that like to have fun gameplay.

They're building native support in to Windows 10 so it's easier for developers to implement it. It's why Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4 etc don't have HDR on Windows yet.

I got no beef with either game. I'm personally much more excited for Zelda, so HZD might have to wait till either before P5 or after.
